Was contacted by At&t via text about being in the top 5% of data user and I needed to call them about my plan. When I called I was told that from now on when I get that "WARNING" my data speed will DROP TO DIALUP SPEEDS efectivly keeping me from watching videos and streaming music (a fact backed up by CS REP). which from my persective is telling me my UNLIMITED DATA is now LIMITED. I feel this to be a very bad practice by AT&T! they told me to use WIFI more!?!?!?! I dont live in an area where I can not get INTERNET (unless I want to pay out the nose for hughesnet or wildblue) and the closest wifi signal is 15 miles from home. I asked if they would give me the gas money to go do that but they declined!

AT&T became crap, and yes unlimited means unlimited, and we should do something about it, I will cancel my service once my contract is over and if most of the unlimited customers doing that, they should know how's there decision will affect them.

I had the same thing happen to me and when I called their response was to "use wi-fi". Well, if I had wi-fi available that would be fine but I don't and so I use my phone which is supposed to have unlimited data and is the reason I chose this phone!
