AT&T used unscrupulous business practices to deactivate my unlimited data plan and charge me unauthorized fees".

I have been a loyal customer of AT&T for over 10 years/. On Jan 14, 2012, they deactivated my unlimited data plan and then capped my usage at 4096 MB and charged me with overage!.

I am in the process of findings another carrier, perhaps Verizon, Sprint, TMobile after being poorly treated by AT&T".

The unfortunate part is that I have a flawless iPhone 4 that I may not be able to take to the next carrier with me;. AT&T does not value loyalty!!! Do not do business with them;. I have put up with dropped phone calls and while traveling not being able to get service in places where my Verizon work phone could, due to continuity and look what they do;.

I want as many people as possible to wise up about their practices?. They said I was tethering and I was not.

..............update.....

Although AT&T Customer Care reached out to me they did nothing to repair my situation other than to give me the number to someone who could not help me. The two comments by them are simply a smokescreen to make it seem as though they tried to rectify the situation and are customer service oriented. Again I repeat, AT&T treated me unethically and as I result my phone bill is at least $20 higher. As soon as the iphone 5 comes out I will be switching to a competitor.
