I have had ATT for years myself. Recently began receiving un-solicited text messages telling me I am approaching the top 5% percent. My use HAS NOT changed. I have also checked with others at work since we went in together and all got unlimited data plans. They ALL have gotten the same messages. Today, I got the one that says I made the top 5% percent and MAY experience slow-down. MAY...

hmmm.....if they say they WILL, they could be held liable for breach of contract. To wit: in return they provide top service. Seems they are forcing a breach of their own contracts. Oh one of my collegues lost his phone and just got it replaced after using a pre-paid phone service. The second he initialized his new phone, it cought on to his account and presto! He got a message telling him he is among the top 5%. He didn't even use his service for almost 2 weeks so the statement that it takes a lot to reach that level is irrelevant since ATT's new tactics to get yet more money from it's existing customers includes intimidation with false text messages. When I tried to find out against what standard were they measuring my usage: I got no straight answer except that I shouldn't be questioning my cell carrier. ATT is lying to it's unlimited data subscribers. They are forcing us to switched to measured rate. 129d450

I received this same email and text message. Seems like I am being penalized for using my unlimited internet. How can I go about filing a formal complaint regarding this matter? Anyone's input is welcome and anticipated!
