Once the contract is up I will not be using att anymore. Very poor communication and no one has a clue what they are doing. I have been lied too and I would strongly recommend using a different company. Save yourself the trouble and headaches.

After speaking with Michael who was quick to turn my service off within 5 minutes. I said GO AHEAD.

He then transfers me to another.

This lady told me I had $123.00 credit,my Universal line would ONLY be $32.00 month.I can accept that with it only being $2.00 more than what Derrick quoted to begin with.I shall update later after my 1st two bills come in..Never let the ones who you pay walk on you,without your permission!! If it wasn't for me and many others,At&T wouldn't be in business.

I have been a customer over 20 years ,att customer service STINKS ,poor talking , poor hold time meaning very long they sit & hold the phone line & keep you waiting .Perhaps they need a NEW job ? Not with customer service.I been paying $34.00 every month well over a year with DSL At&t.Then bill went up $44.00 during hardship. I said cut it off! Derrick with at&t Universal gave me $30.00 affordable higher speed & Grant came out week later to install drill holes in my floor & leaves his mess for me to clean up , not covering where a little mice might /could come through into my home.(UGH).So, time to call & pay my bill . I held over 1 hour ,yep 1 hour ,spoke with "GEL" wanting automatically to try to UPSALE me on direct TV. NO, I need to pay my bill. GEL tells me higher amount than what I am paying.On hold again with cancellation . Now , I've been on hold over 2 hours & counting.yep still holding.POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ! "JAELLA ID# JW546t" VERY HATEFUL ! Tells me I can't have Univ at my affordable price of $30.00 a month, guess what throws me back on hold for another floor manager.WOW !! I just need to pay this bill & get on with my only off day I have instead of fighting with AT&T over money they promised me every month service just for internet. NO TV !She as Jaella id # JW546T is more hateful asking me for my phone number again.wtf?really I only gave it to her 2 times.Now, speaking with Michael 3 hours later. Michael has credited my account.

ATT in Port Orange, Florida - Trying to become a Monopoly again!

I had both cell and Uverse service with them and had been a "Valued Customer" for almost 6 years. Little by little both services increased in price for no apparent reason. While each call was courteous manner, the pricing problem was never resolved. When I finally ended my cell contract the price dropped $20 a month. I called out of curiosity and was told because I was no longer under contract, I no longer had to pay an access fee. REALLY?? The same experience with Uverse. Started out at $109 a month and with no warning the price went to $170. Even though they would not give me credit for the contract ending, I downgraded service to $140 a month with little or no channel lineup worth the price. Plus, in a month's time, the price began to increase. I cancelled service and because I have their switching box in my back yard, called and told them I want it removed and placed in an area about 20 feet away where the other service providers are located and is accessible 24/7. Each time there is a problem, I am inconvenienced with having to open a privacy fence to allow them to gain access. I once returned home finding one of their trucks at my address because of local problems, with the tech up on the fence trying to unlock it to gain access without prior consent. (Trespassing!!!) Still called and requested the box be removed with no action. Today, 10/25/15, my neighbor decided to get Direct TV, so ATT needed access to the yard. It supplies service to roughly 5 houses in the neighborhood. I allowed him access explaining that I wanted the box removed because it's hassle for me to have to open the gate should they need access. He said he would report it, wasn't able to complete installation because of a problem and left. About 2 hours later another tech showed up and again I explained the situation. He became testy and explained that the box was in an easement and wasn't there to argue with me. I promptly told him I was denying him access, and he left responding "that's fine!" The ball is in your court ATT!! I have wires running along my lawn because of improper installation and is a hazard. If I should trip while walking and catch my foot on one of these wires, it would have been cheaper for them to remove the box in the first place!!

Been with ATT Uverse for 5 months. So far 7 tech visits have not resolved our problems. Service outs multiple times per day yet they say their "records" do not show it happening. Work from home and voc not reliable which has cost $$$ to put in land line allowing for work to continue. Worst service ever and a true lack of caring by ATT.

ATT in Godfrey, Illinois - At&T Rep's Mislead me as a consumer.

I spoke with three Rep's 08/05/2015, 09/09/2015 and 10/09/2015 over paying my balance off due to a phone line that was disconnected on my account. The disconnection line caused my account to have a high balance that eventually cause the wireless account to shut off status. Each time I called in I made payments towards the balance of my account. I was told I had to 10/27/2015 to pay the balance off and my phone line would be restored. I made my final payment on 10/23/2015 to have my phone line restored. The Rep during that phone call indicated I had to pay $750.00 more on top of the balance because At&t was requiring a deposit. This information was new to me, all the other Rep's never indicated I would have to pay a deposit. They said my account would be restored if I paid it before 10/27/2015. After hearing this information they also indicated my account was already in collections since 09/2015. However At&t took all of my payments and never indicated my account was in collections. As a consumer, I felt mislead, I was not fully made aware of the channels I would have to take to restore my phone because the At&t Rep's failed to explain the full process of the phone line restoration. I am certain they failed me as a consumer and I would have been better prepared if I had been told the truth from the beginning.

EXTREMELY BAD Service by ATT

Ok so I dont usually give negative reviews as I am a believer of second chance. I work in a similar industry where we have angry customers all the time, so I know how things work and believe me if I treated my clients/customers anywhere close to how ATT has treated me I would have been long out my job. So yes, it has reached a point where this case warrants a negative review. So I ordered for ATT U-Verse and Gigapower for my residence. I have first made my order on 10/12/2015, and was scheduled for installation on 10/16/2015 (Friday) between 9-11am. So here I was waiting for someone to contact me to show up on the scheduled appointment window, finish installation and activate my service, the clock had ticked 12:30pm and no one called me to provide a status. So I called in and they told me there was a facilities issue and that I will have to wait until the following Monday to get a next appointment date. Monday arrived, no one called me to schedule my next appointment, so I call in again to check. The customer relationships manager, so much for that position, told me it is not a "Facilities" issue and said there was a problem with the order and that he will cancel my order and put in a new order. Ok so my order has been put in a second time on Monday 10/19/2015, and was scheduled for 10/23/2015 (Friday, again) and yet AGAIN, no one called me to provide a status. So when I called in, it is "Facilities" issue again when someone on 10/19/2015 said it was not. Now I am sitting here with no date for when the installation will be completed, and they couldnt even give me an estimated date!!!!!!!! How ridiculous is this???? Seems like ATT lacks integrity in what they commit to and what they tell the customers, going back and forth on their own word. They also seem to lack the right technical expertise to handle their own infrastructure. If i had not already run my credit check, I would have long ago canceled my order, but now with having waited so long already and have hurt myself enough, I have no go but to wait until ATT blesses me. This is extremely frustrating!!!!!!!! I swear to god, I will NEVER EVER go with ATT again, be it Cellular/TV/Internet..... NEVER!!!!

what it sounds like, is that it WAS indeed a facilities issue, such as all the installers had full schedules, and it's a first come; first served, sort of deal, most the time. its site specific, really. the second rep might not have known this, and it sounds like he tried to redo your order, and resubmit it, in order to try and make it top priority

ATT in The Crossings, Florida - Grandfathered data removed!

After the purchase of my I phone 6 last year I've been fuming ever since. They stole my unlimited data plan that I had since the first I phone came out. I was grandfathered in, how could they have taken it from me? I want it back! They need to give it back. I was a Cingular customer, then AT&T bought them. So I was a long time customer, probably since 1996. Now to keep the phone payments low I share 3 gigs with a friend. We cut it close every month. 3 gigs is hardly enough when sharing. If feel this is deceptive business practices and they need to reinstate my unlimited data plan.

A I calledto speak about not losing fox 8.it turned into a something else. I.was told I had a past due amount. ATT in Fayetteville, Tennessee - Disconnect Fees ??????

We had bad service from the beginning and after a year our price went up almost a $100. I called and they fixed the price by giving me a promo. It still was $20 higher then I was told before tax's. They reduced my tv to a U200 when I had U300 and it was still higher then I was paying before. The service was bad again and I called to get it fixed and about the bill and another 1 1/2 hours on the phone and nothing. So I disconnected. They told me I would receive money back since I paided a month ahead. Well guess what, 300 disconnect fee. They said I was in a contract because I accepted the promo?????? What????? NO ONE told me there was a contract. If you are considering AT&T for internet or tv DO NOT DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
