Changed our data plan without our permission | ATT review from Huntington Beach, California

My husband called AT&T because our youngest daughter keep going over her data. He just wanted to add more data to her number. The lady on the phone talked him into a shared family data plan. My older daughter and I had unlimited data. She did not tell him that our unlimited plan would be cancelled. We have been careful to keep our unlimited plan for years…now it is gone. We called back within the hour, but they said it was too late! I have always felt loyal to AT&T, but I no longer trust them. Beware of their tactics!!! They will do anything possible to get you off unlimited.

Paying my bill. | ATT review from Sausalito, California

I attempted to pay my uverse bill on line this morning, but was gien a mesage to contact my bank because the payment did not go through. My bank is chase and there is plenty of money in my account. I called At&t and after talking to a computer for quite a while I finally got through to customer service. The customer service person tried to put my payment through and got an error message what told her that the system was and had been down for several hours and I should try back in an hour. I tried back in an hour and it was still down. I tried back on line several hours later and it would not accept my debit card. This is the same debit card I have used for over two years. I finally called AT&T and got through to a customer service agent and she said that she wasn't aware of the on line payment system being down and took my info and the system accepted my debit card and I was charged $5.00 for the service. At&t has the worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with. It is trickle down from the top from the CEO to the customer service clerks. AT&T is too big to manage by the incompetent management team that they have in place, yet they make money although, a lot of it is made through deceptive practices.

You want people to take your complaint seriously, try to at least make it clear. "...THEY TOLD ME THE TABLET FOR FR.E AND TO CANCEL IT THEY WANT TO CHARGE ME 100.00."

What does that even mean?

Att double billed me on an account. 1st call to 611 Cust support they told me to call 800-331-0500 ext 0 to get to billing directly as they couldn't forward me. Second call to recommended number lady agreed to send me to a supv and after 3 attempts to forward me to a supv I was disconnected. After finally reaching supv named Ryan he agreed to refund the amount and stated he was going to call me from his workstation so his Cust serv reps could continue to work. I agreed and waited 20 minutes for him to call back. He didn't so I called him and was told Cust serv office is closed for the day.

I spent over two hours today trying to get help from AT&T's customer service department. It is so frustrating because you can't understand what they are saying to you and they always put you on hold or transfer you to another person you can't understand. I had asked to be transferred to the United States customer service and the person became very rude to me. I then asked for a supervisor and was hung up on. That kind of service is unacceptable. That isn't how you keep customers. Their actual wireless service is just as bad. I live in a rural part of Southern Ohio where there is little to no coverage. When I travel to a big city, I still don't have very good coverage. I also get a lot of dropped calls. I would find another carrier if possible.

Dsl Internet Review

I lowered my dsl to what i could afford to 34.00 dollars from 40.00 dollars, but the next day my interent was like dialup. I called to go back, and they tell me i can't do that and i have to go one a waiting list. (A WAITING LIST) REALLY!!!!. They didnt explain that i couldnt go back once i made the change. Unacceptable experience

I was promised a 50.00 rewards card if i switched from u200 to u300. I was counting on that card. I called to see where is my card. I was told i would not get it because i have received too many cards. I should gave been told this right away or i would have never switched. Then i wanted to go back to u200 but i half to wait for a certain date. Im ready to cancel servuce. Its not my fault i was given rhe wrong information.

Waste of time, been a prepaid customer 4 over 10 years don't even use the cell, I have 2 metro lines that I depend on. I called 4 a new Sim card the rep convinced me 2 pay next month bill early I'm aware that it automatically comes out my account but why are they conning ppl into making early payment which led 2 my account being overdraft she put me on hold 4 20 minutes I called my other cell & she picked up & I confronted her she acted like I was ***. It's not fair 2 waste ppl time like that. My solution was 2 cancel my contract. At least metro treat u with respect with a 5.00 charge, maybe at&t should do the same since they obviously out search the staff from overseas

I have had AT&T Uverse for about 2 years now an during this time I was paying my bill by money order and for four billing periods that I paid by moneyorder my charges were 47.00 or more when my bill was only supposed to be 14.95 a month for a year. So I started makin payments by my school refund card so that I would have a confirmation of payment. By this time a year had passed and the promotion period ended in which AT&T started charging me 36.00 for 1.5 gb of speed and said I could upgrade t 3.0 gb for 51.00 a month. But when I told them that they said I could not have 3.0 gb because of my demographic, AT&T said that I could receive the initial 1.5 gb for 23.00 a month. The issue is since the beginning I have never received the full 1.5 gb it was always 982.67mbps or 1.0 to 1.3 gb of service but never the full 1.5 gb. Also my monthly payment of 23.00 a month that was promised was never in effect either it was 26.00 then 27.00 one month it was 36.00 and now it is 27.00 for this upcoming bill. But I am still not receiving the total amount in which I was promised the 1.5gb instead as of now it is at best 1.13 gb but yet I have paid my Internet bill on time with my school card for confirmation. When I paid with money orders on time my bill was double or almost triple the price and there was no confirmation number available to me then with those payments. It is imperative that something be done as I am paying money for an incomplete service, and I am a college student that goes to school online so this is a big deal for me. And since I cannot get the service for which I am paying I will try to file suit against them for not allowing me to get more gb due to me being an African American living in a poor demographic. I was in pursuit of a work at home career in which I was denied because my Internet was too slow. I will not so call upgrade my services when I cannot in all reality no matter what AT&T says because they won't allow it and I am not receiving the correct services to begin with so why waste extra money. I need help in how o file suit against this biased entity for false advertisement and demographic racial discrimination any one who can give me help contact me via email at jennifer.crafton@ ymail.com. Something has got to give and frankly I am tired of it being me.
