Back sept 2013 telecommication group told us they were susposed to change out old dsl with u verse it was a man in a car then this old ragged van came and destroyed out phone system in house system no phone or computer for three months .figured out what was going on I have been on the case . I think it was june and july I thought I had the problem taken car off .now we are in collections.we want to collect three months loss of business and three months phone bill we had to pay since then u verse has been installed three times WHERE DOES THIS END !

Cannot get ATT to reverse 411 Directory Assistance I didn't make.

I was charged $2.09 for a directory assistance call I didn't make between June 12 and July 12, 2014. Most of the month we were on vacation and the phone was not used. I called their 800 number and was on hold form 10-12 minutes. After finally getting a rep, she said she would check. After waiting another 10 minutes I hung up. I went to their web site to contact ATT and explain the problem but the web site is very unfriendly. Att - Phone Service Review

I have had AT&T for 6 months now I have had to call customer service every month my bill has been outrageous every month . My bills have ranged from 380 dollars to 167 is my new current bill . I started out with ten gigs of data and my bill never went down to the original quoted price of 180 I finally had it switched to 1 gig for our 2 phones and then it made the price go down to the 167 . Att is a liar and a cheat . I'm stuck under contract and as soon as I have the contract done with I will switch back to straight talk so nobody can give me the run around next time I'll take out a real loan if I don't have the money up front to get a nice phone if anyone knows how to get out of contract without pay efts then let me know

I had a sales person call to sale me u-verse tv and internet. They set up 4 appointments and I took four days off of work and they never showed or called. One day they did show when they left nothing worked even my phones that had worked prior to the service had stopped. I have lost $3,000 in income trying to get this installed. They also sent me bills for the service they never put in then turned off my phones. I was on the phone for more than 6 hrs trying to straighten this out. I am still without internet or tv. It's been a month of pure ***. Worst company in the world for sure

Att - Tablet Purchase Review from Worcester, Massachusetts

They conned my boyfriend into getting a tablet and he told the representative that he was hardly able to pay his bill as it is and that is why we have a late fee every month because when he signed up he was told his bill would be $80/month but when it came in, it was more like &180/month with late fee and all taxes and fees which were not explained. He asked if it would include taxes on that amount and the rep said yes. The rep lied to him. He went in one day and the rep told him that his bill would not increase if he purchased a tablet. It did increase. In fact, it is now double which means that now he has NO phone because he can not afford it. He told them that but since they get commission, they did not care! This could ruin his credit which will ruin his life! I hope the commission was worth it. Very unhappy customer and we will be switching to verizon since they only charge $10 per gig and AT&T charges me $40/gig. Thanks for being the worst phone company ever and for not helping your customers. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau because you are not helping him.

Can not connect to e-mail

In March I purchased a l g smart phone the day I opened the box I was unable to set up my e-mail as well as searching for gps continually came on and would not shut off even after several hours on the phone with the tech I was unable to resolve these issues . Today I went to the at&t store n Katy Texas to try to get my phone operating correctly after 1 hr the tech gave up and said the phone needed to be replaced . He by the way was excellent and really cared about my dilemma the customer service rep and her senior manager Dianne on the other hand were entirely different not only were they rude but they could not explain why my device would not function correctly after 1 hr and 45 minutes on the phone Dianne told me oh well you need to download updates and then we will see if your phone works call us back if it doesn't and then we will contine to trouble shoot it from there they were unwilling to help and when I said that I was ready to cancel my service with them she just said let me transfer you to my cancellation dept and hung up what customer service wow I was appalled I work in the customer service industry and would be terminated immediately if I ever gave that response to a customer I will never do business with them again and I urge others to stay clear of this company

Att - Poor Service Review

Att makes me want to go pay comcast prices. I have been without services for 4 days and truly they don't care. We will get to you when we can. I have set an appt. everyday for 4 days. They have ran the test and tell me it is an outside problem, why on the 4th day send an inside tech., that can't do anything but tell me he will have to schedule an outside tech. It is very sad that I would give someone my money for services and be treated like this. I work at home and have missed a week of work for a company that I pay and trusted to give me services to do my job.

Number Porting

Since April 29th of 2014 we have been given the run around about our home phone service. We switch from one provider to at&t, in doing so we have had *** in getting our phone service going. We've been given as an activation dates May 6th and 20th. Jun. 3rd, 13th, 17th and now July 2nd. We've talked to at the very least 15 different people and each one has no idea as to what's going on with our account or they can't locate it. The automated system can't find our Acct., the next time it finds it no problem. Each time we speak to a different person we have to start the process over and over again. There's no communication between the different Reps you talk to, nor any notations made on your Acct. the previous call. We've been told lie after lie and empty promises made to waive fees. One Rep (from the COMPLAINTS dept.) insulted us by offering $30.00's for our problems that began in late April. We were told by their reps that at&t would take care of the bill from the other company since it's their fault that we are in this predicament. Now they have no record of that employee, how convenient. Our cell phone Acct. has been switched to a totally different plan without our permission and the young lady tells us she's sorry but, it can't be changed back to how it was. We finally get the number from the other company and it's ready to be ported and can you guess what happens. this can't be done right away. It will take 24 to 48 hrs. It would seem to me that they would expedite this connection simply from what we've had to put up with. In closing if you encounter this kind of problem, do what i'm doing because when we are all making such claims someone has to notice. Mr. Lyons

Att - Bundle Review

I am so angry I can barely type. I verse bundle ordered 4 weeks ago. AT&T well aware and kept reminding us if appt. Installer put in srrvuce, we thought, and then we discovered 1. Cannot send email from outlook, 2 no incoming voice calls and 3. Internet speed not much better. Tried to get a fix on voice incoming calls first. After 3 hours on chat and phone, I was told multiple stories with the same bottom line. It will be Tuesday before we can have incoming calls. Then tried to get fix on email. Took hours but finally got it done, which should have happened on install 3 days ago. Had to deal with outsourced customer service who could not talk to or email North Carolina, assuming they know where that is. I am SOoooo fed up with the gross incompetence and discourses of this company I could scream. If there were an actual competitor I would be gone in a flash.

AT&T completely screws you over with the data plans they offer. There are shared plans like the 10gig but honestly who in the world can keep their data under 2 g a month? Like really? It's 2014 and the enternet is used for just about everything on the iPhone, and for them to charge me 15$ every time I exceed my allowed data is just ridiculous! They need an unlimited data plan like they used to have and quit ripping people off

The idea behind the standard data plan is that most customers will have some kind of WiFi (home, work, local Starbucks) to connect to. Even on an Unlimited data plan, most users rarely exceed 5 GB in a billing cycle.

If you're consistently getting overages, you should consider either increasing your data limit or investing in home WiFi. If neither of those options are viable for you, then perhaps you should rethink how much time you spend on your cellphone.

I totally agree, it's taken the fun out of having a mobile phone with data plan. Now I have to count 525 megabytes per week to make sure I don't go over it's ridiculous. Also since these new plans came out have you noticed that mysteriously my phone is suddenly using more data to do the same thing that I did a year ago and it's costing me twice the amount charged to my data plan I think they dialed the amount up kind of like how they set gambling machines in Las Vegas to fix how often they will pay out I wish somebody would find the evidence because there is something definitely wrong.

INCOMPETENT Business Customer Service

My small business will go under due to the incompetence of their reps! I am told I have the $150 plan, and then get a bill for $800! I must pay the ol bill in order to keep their service and supposedly go into another plan.....this has happened three times! Why don't I change providers you ask? Because AT&T has a monopoly on this in South Florida....nobody else I can choose except another *** provider....... I ask one rep if they just go through generalized training and then get thrown to the wolves, because NONE of their people seem to know what's going on. I am provided with different info every time I call. Nobody takes notes in my account? Are their computers *** and don't synch? IDK but I am beyond pissed. I wish they would receive the same type of service they provide because they would go under!

Canceledtelephone service without my request.

My telephone service was canceled without my request and with out my knowledge.My telephone number was turned over to T Mobil at suposedly my request (not true).It took me 8 days and 420 cellphone minutes and endless frustration to get my telephone service and telephone number back.I have never experienced such disfanguanal customer service from such large company such as A.T.+T. in my live. I will try to sue A.T.+T. for 8 days of mental distress and 420 cellphone minutes that I lost while trying to recover my telephone service from them. Im 75 years old and got the time to pursue this matter thru my layer. I will look for new telephone service A.S.A.P.

att is a joke. i cannot believe these people are in business still. i continously have rip off charges on my bill they make me have to call monthly if i want my bill adjusted to the correct rate but they take up over an hr of my time and make me jump through loops after i waited on hold for a service rep. my bill is always calculated wrong and they dont care. something smells in their financial dept. i wont be surprised if this company closes for ripping people off time and time again.
