Switched to At&t expecting them to do as advertised and buy me out of my old sprint contract. Low and behold now after i switched now they r saying you pay the bill and we will eventually pay you back. At&t is a scam like all the others not caring about the customers. Hidden *** never told to you untill after the fact

We did the whole trade-in help you switch what-have-you from Verizon to AT&T. They said they would use the credit from our trade-ins (a nice iPhone 6 and a Galaxy S6) to pay our final Verizon bill. Then, we'd get the remaining amount on the gift card. Well, we got the gift card a few weeks later and the amount was correct, so we assumed our bill was paid. WRONG! This entire process has been a joke from the start. I have 8 phones on my account and we switched from Verizon. Biggest mistake I have made in quite some time. The day we decided to switch I was in the store for a minimum of 8 hours before having to leave without everything being completed even then. Just tried to contact, and it does not go through. Good tactic, let it look like they are actually interested in your problem but can't get through. Also, the chat line has been busy for 2 days. These are by far the biggest crooks ive ever seen. Suppose to have 4g internet speed. Almost all month long my internet speed was 1g at best. Called technical support several times. Always the same story. We have it fixed you wont have to call again. Right. Also they stopped my phone service 1 day early. I have the proof. Ok AT&T. Just called my debit card company. I get one free charge back. That means you dont get to dispute the transactions.... Read more

Traveling In St Marten: IPhone: cingular off, carrier off, free wifi. Got charge for text messages. What exactly did AT&T do to be allowed to charge for these? Checked to see if they had a plan to cover: they have, what they call an awesome deal: $10 a day!!! WOW what a bargain. I ordered Direct TV thinking I was going with Direct TV. They also gave me a quote that was very wonderful at the time. After giving them a heads up on the quote I was told that in order to get the internet I would have to call AT&T. Very confused at the time I did this. Worst company I have ever dealt with. I have been here in this location for 8 months and have had problems with my tv service at least 8 times. I am so over the extremely poor customer service, so over not being able to fix my problem, so over not getting any reimbursement for the horrible service provided. AT&T is the worst company ever. AT&T is the worst company ever. I was three days late with my payment and they cut off my home phone service with no warning. Then they demanded a 50 dollar fee to turn it back on - even though my wife had been a customer for 15 years and I also had cellphone service with them as well has home phone service. My mother has DirecTV and out of the blue after AT&T decided to charge my elderly mother for ATT u-verse in the amount of 149.52. We have Comcast (X-finity). I have called them as well as my mother to tell them she has never had an account they created one in her name! They refuse to help us! Now they have sent her to collections which will go against her credit report! Does anyone at AT&T know what they are doing? Wish DirecTV hadn't merged.... Read more
