On September 10, 2007, I paid my AT&T local service bill of $38.23 through my bank's online billpay service, and on October 19, 2007, I paid my AT&T local service bill of $88.04, also through my bank's online billpay service. My name is Joe Gugliotti and my home phone is 203-757-6174. I live in Waterbury, CT. My phone service and DSL internet through AT&T keep getting disconnected for no reason. I am truly shocked with ATT customer service. I was offered 3 months free service if I switched from my current provider to them. I have been calling every month since then and still have to receive it (it is now past 6 months) and today they told me there is no rebate in their system and it is my loss now for not getting the 3 months free service. Your company is embarrasing, your customer service representatives should learn how to treat the costumer calling. You will tell me that I am not a costumer because you are working for someone who I was a costumer of, al it is is a big loophole for you to not do your job. I have been an ATT customer for years. I happened to make a call to Canada from my landline. When I got the bill they had charged me $1.35 per minute. The same call on their cell phone would have been 19 cents per minute. My new carrier charges 5 cents per minute. On 5/22/08 I opened an account with AT&T Mobility. As I mentioned at the time of opening the account, I switched to AT&T Mobility after 5 years at Verizon Wireless solely due to the anticipated announcement of the 3G I-Phone (announced June 2008). over charges on my bill almost every month, I never got my compny discount which about 17%, and when i called to close my account the customer service assisstant threat me not to do so cauz by cancelling i will get cancellantion fees on every phone, I have 4 phone one is mine one for my girl friend and 2 for my kids.so finally I switched to a different carrier. by the WAY i WAS USING deffected phone for about 3 months and it was 9 months old... I own a small retail business, which we were in the process of moving, just seven doors down. We called AT&T several months before the move, and inquried about the possibility about having service at both locations for approximately two weeks. We are stuck as customers in Juneau, AK, and have no choice now but to use AT&T, who charges us higher rates than our previous providers, and for services that were previously free. Our previous providers, Dobson Cellular One (who were bought out bt AT&T), provided free text messaging from their website. Additionally, with Dobson, a person was only charged if SENDING a text message from their phone, but the person RECEIVING the text... Read more
