I am a long time AT&T customer but I have had a horrible experience. In late October I was told by an AT&T representative that if I switched my cell phone from T Mobile I would get a $650 gift card the end of Nov. When the time came and went I called and told it would arrive in December. In fact, I have a voice mail from a rep apologizing saying it was in the mail. I am sooo mad! My mom is on a fixed income and AT&T is so expensive for an emergency line. They said I could apply to California Lifeline, which I did immediately. In the meantime I got a $148.00 bill! When I called to say the Lifeline hadn't come through, they said too bad, you owe that much it we'll disconnect! Now that lifeline approved, the phone is disconnected and now I have to f---ing start all over again with a new application and... Read more

13 hours in two weeks on the phone being switched to departments internally that had nothing to do with what I was calling about. My issue started a week ago when I decided to drop my cable carrier and go with direct Tv through my carrier for my phone. I have been a valued customer since they were Cingular. My husband called in on January 13, 2017 to inquire about getting set up with AT&T DSL, Home phone and cable. They were happy to offer him a promotional deal where he gets set up with DirecTV and bundle our other home phone and internet service. The sales woman went over her whole pitch, selling extra channels and making sure we had all the programming we normally watch. This company is a JOKE! I run a small business if I conducted consumer service like At&t and Direct TV I would be out of business. After spending a combined 8 hours on the phone with various folks, they scheduled my install for my 2nd home/vacation home from sat 8-12. No one came no one called, at 3pm sat i called to check and they told me it was rescheduled for sun from 8-12. Another morning of waiting as well as missing church. Long story... Read more

Our home flooded 5 months ago and we were finally able to check our phone jacks. Of course, they did not work so we called for a repairman to come out. I took off a half a day of work and they didn't show nor did they bother to call. Then called to complain and was on hold 30 minutes and being switched from one person to the other. We rescheduled for a Saturday again a *** no show and no contact of any kind. We have been with AT & T from before... Read more

I made my 1st complaint month ago then phone calls have started to come from them ,talked ,talked and talked again and again whenever I got called, told my story from its beginning to the end every each of them but all are insisted not to understand even and instead of giving for what ever I was promised for they have been offered different kind of awkward -un-related offers than the one I was offered over the phone by one of their oversea... Our building went from Comcast to att, paying for a DVR but it doesn't record. Spent - 1 1/2 hrs on the phone only to get a technician out, yep he fixed it and that lasted 2 weeks, I am tied of plugging in and unplugging and rebooting and it still is not working, it's supposed to be a wire system. And now the screen freezes at random times. This has been the worst. choice for the TV

Well Well how I HATE at&t , horrible costume service one horrible than another one , she yelled at me and overtalking like crazy I couldn't talk , can you help me ? I was an AT&T customer for about ten (10) years. I suffered through every call to Customer Service while they tried and tried to bundle my services. These calls or online chats always lasted 30 to 45 minutes of my valuable time. They wanted to trap me into a home phone (always told them no, I don't need it) and/or a TV package (on my budget, I'm an antenna TV watcher only). All I ever needed was cell service and internet.
