WON'T REMOVE DECEASED PERSON'S BILL/PHONE PAYMENTS

ATT has NO EMAIL (that they'll let customers know about).

My husband passed a few months ago - account in his name. He had bought a phone and was making monthly payments.

I keep getting a XXXXX bot on the phone and NO ONE to help me as to where I need to send a death certificate. They continue billing for both HIS SERVICE AND HIS PHONE.

Again today when I tried to reach ANYONE to straighten this out, the computer switched me to a "YOU MUST PAY YOUR ACCOUNT NOW IN FULL, BEFORE WE'LL LET YOU SPEAK TO ANYONE." Like I'd get to speak to anyone anyway. RUFKM ?

And, to top it off, I just got a letter addressed to HIM without ANY credits since he passed and completely ignoring everything already told to them. They are going to POST AN AUTO PAY to MY bank account for HIS charges.

I NEVER gave them permission to use auto pay, nor would I. Lawsuit.

They refuse to separate my bill from my husband's. I tried to pay the total for my phone that shows (on my phone).

No, they want HIS payments lumped in with mine, even though they NEVER allowed me access to the account (either before or now). Since they wouldn't allow me to pay my bill, they suspended my phone service. I reported them to the BBB. Check this out - AFTER they suspended my service, they kept insisting THEY'LL close the complaint if I don't CALL them.

CALL them? On my phone with suspended service ?

To that, they had the cohones to patronize me, feigning empathy, saying it must be "so frustrating" for me. XXXX you.

Phone insurance money was stolen from me. $1300+$250 deductible

I was on a family plan with my girlfriend and her cousins and grandparents. Her grandfather is the "main account holder".

I came into some money and wanted to buy an expensive phone I had seen on TV several times. It was going to be my first big phone purchase. And my last, had I known what was going to happen when I filed an insurance claim. Anyway, I went to AT&T wanting to purchase the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G.

It was like $1200. My girlfriend's grandfather told us that I had to put down a considerable amount of money so that he wasn't afraid I wasn't going to pay my phone bill and he would get stuck with paying it. So 8 traded in the phone I was using at the time, which was a Galaxy 8+. And brought in a little over $500 and AT&T gave me like $400 and some change as a trade-in that I could use towards my phone.

So, all together I put down a little over $850-$900 with the trade-in included. I was over the moon with joy and anticipation of going home and playing with my new awesome phone. Well, let's say a few months later I dropped my phone and cracked the screen. I was so miffed, but I had insurance so I didn't care.

By this time her grandfather had suspended my number but I was still paying my phone bill. And then I had to pay the $250 deductible for the insurance claim. And he wouldn't give us the account code so we could get the phone sent to our apartment. He had always done that in the past because that happened to be like 4th insurance claim we had filed since being on the family plan with him.

So, he was acting funny and wouldn't let me handle the claim. I didn't think anything about it until he said one day that they didn't have my phone in stock so they were going to send me a $1300 check and I could just go out and buy a phone with that. I was even happier. My happiness was short lived because the day we went to his house to pick up my check(of course he wouldn't have thd check sent to my house because that would have been to easy and messed up his plan to steal the check for himself).

We get to his house and instead of handing me the check he hands me $167 and says that's what he owes me. He was dead serious about it too. He said, "AT&T sent me that check to pay the remainder of your phone off". He said the check was his.

He paid the rest of what I owed and then took me off his plan. Just like that. So, of course I went ballistic because AT&T would not send him the money to pay the remainder of my phone off because they could have just done it themselves and went the difference. We got into an argument and he got in my face and hit me because I wouldn't back down to his lies about stealing my phone money.

So, then he tried to lie and say I owed way more than I did because he had the phone bills and would never give me an actual copy because he knew he was doing wrong. So I found them and kept them because I was going to take him to court. That is insurance fraud, which is illegal. I called AT&T IMMEDIATELY because I wanted them to know what happened.

The only problem was that I no longer had an account or had his account pin number so I couldn't get into his account but they could see what he had done. And he didn't understand that by depositing the check shows a paper trail so all they had to do was follow it and the would see what he had done. So, I have called AT&T's customer service and their fraud line and no one ever got back into contact with me. The fraud website is a joke because they have you fill out a form and tell them what happened and then you submit it and they are supposed to get in touch with you and handle the matter.

But NO ONE EVER CONTACTED ME. EVER!!! THAT MAN STOLE $1550 FROM ME AND THEN PAID MY PHONE OFF AND CUT ME OFF THE PLAN. SO, FOR ALMOST A YEAR I DIDNT HAVE A PHONE AND I WAS OUT $1550.

I ONLY HAD MY GALAXY S21 ULTRA 5G FOR LIKE 3 MONTHS. WTF!!! THAT IS NOT RIGHT AND WHAT HE DID IS ILLEGAL AND NOBODY SEEMED TO CARE. IT HAPPENED A FEW YEARS AGO , BUT I AM STILL PISSED ABOUT IT.

AND HE GOT IN MY FACE AND PUT HIS HANDS ON ME. HE'S IN HIS 90'S SO I COULDN'T SMACK HIM LIKE HE DESERVED BECAUSE 8 WOULD HAVE FELT BADLY ABOUT IT.

First of all I'm disabled, secondly I had the Afforadble connectivity program, supposed to be free. Now their saying I owe them $80.

I returned the router and even have a letter saying there would be a full refund. they just kept adding $35 a month to my bill when i could NOT pay.

I have been completely broke for 6 months!!!

AT&T has overcharged and continues to do so

I bought a phone and they didn't honor the contract they made with me. I have called several times over the past few months to get this fixed and they say they will refund the money.

Then nothing happens.

They continue to do this. They are charging me DOUBLE what they said they would charge.

Problem

My wife had a bellsouth.net email she had used for years and yall just shut the damn account down with no way to get back in. Getting a new email is not a problem,but need to move saved stuff to new account.

Absolutely no help at all.

I cant use apps store. No downloading of any apps.

It says I have a charge against me.

Ive never bought any apps and refuse to inset my credit card info for fear of being charged for something I didnt purchase. Its a brand new phone with high rates I expect it to work not give me issues!!!Angry
