Directv - STAY AWAY!!

After 18 years we had enough of the rate increases, especially after ATT took over. 170.00 a month. No negotiating... we got fiber so bye bye.. They wanted the receivers back. Sent a 1 receiver box for 4 receivers. we had so much time to get them back. Called. they sent another box. This was for 2 so we shipped them Kept a receipt thank God. Called back to get a second 2 unit box. It is on the way. week goes by no box. Time running out to return. Called again told us to take them to a fed ex / ups place and they will scan and ship. Finally got to the correct place and sent them off today. Seems DTV / ATT are screwing around so they can make more money off us. STAY AWAY if looking to be a customer.

I am having one *** of a time getting credit back from the phones I returned.. I never activated them, sent them back in 3 days unblemished..I have home service with them.. they charged me for phones .. no credits returned.. now they have suspended home service. I have spoken with agents (by the way are very good) but t..I have other issues that I would rather not air on here... I full intend to go to better business bureau... I am 69 years old.. not computer savvy... but I’m 69 and old enough to know I’ve been shanked... today is the last day I deal with AT&T directly

I have called several times to get help for getting my fiber cable properly buried and secured. The work has still not been completed properly. Today I called and was on wait for about 50 minutes and then the next message was that the office is closed and call tomorrow. When you log on securely to the website, there is no way to send an email to customer support The Chat functionality is awful.

i cancelled my account with them then i get a bill for $200+. Now how can that be? i'm not using their service next month so they can't bill me for that and i paid off my last bill, so wtf is the $200 for? Now my acct is with a collector. This company is ripping every single one of their customers off.

Two days ago I received my first "AT&T" bill for my DirectTV service. The last previous bill was received from DirecTV in January. I paid it on time. Apparently AT&T made a change in their billing department and is now sending a bill payable to AT&T instead of DirecTV....

when I received my current Directv bill I was surprised by a credit card payment of $288.55. I had auto pay for my tv bill which is around $95.00 a month.

After talking to my husband he realized that the $288.55 was supposed to go for our home phone and cell service. Here is the funny part if you want to call it funny, I call it stupidity on ATTs behalf. The TV bill is in my name and the phone bill is in my husbands name with 2 completely different account numbers. TV bill was on auto pay with a debit card and my husband paid the phone bill through our bank payment center, no credit card associated with this.

After spending over 2 hours on the phone trying to get the $288.55 from the tv bill to the phone bill we were told they could not do that, that they have to send the $288.55 back and that took 5 days for them to return it to our bank account. My husband resubmitted the $288.55 again.

We were assured that we would not be charged a late fee for there screw up, just received our current phone bill and it is over $500 and also a LATE FEE. I have been a Directv customer since 1996 before it was called Directv, December 26, 2019 my 2 year sentence is up and Directv will be out of my house for good.

I IGNORED THE THREATS ABOUT THEIR ATTORNEY THREATS AND TOOK MY ISSUES TO FTC. GUESS WHAT - THEY ARE SERIOUS ABOUT IT AND SOLVED MY ISSUES. DO THE SAME. DO NOT LET THIS COMPANY BAIT AND SWITCH YOU, TAKE UP LOTS OF YOUR TIME FIGHTING THEIR ERRORS, OR INTIMIDATE YOU. WE HAVE FEDERAL PROTECTION AND THEY ARE WELL AWARE OF AT&T ABUSES. I CONTACTED THEM TWO DAYS AFTER THE SHUT DOWN STOPPED. I FILLED OUT THE ONLINE FORM AND SENT IT IN AND GOT IT RESOLVED WITHIN A MONTH.
