Don't use AT&T...Customer Service is horrible! | ATT

Details
After spending hours trying to have them fix my ability to login, I find their slogan "AT&T Cares" more than a joke. When I try to login in, it sends a code to my device to verify it's me. The problem is they are sending it to a device that doesn't have a SIM card (ie a watch). I've tried for days to get them to send the code to one of my cell phones. Yesterday, they said a Level 2 supervisor would resolve and call me within 10 minutes! I'm on hold again for probably the 10th time. How do they stay in business and advertise "AT&T Cares"?

They do care by staying on the phone. Im sure dealing with someone like yourself is driving them not to...

I was a AT&T customer for decades, cell phone, home phone, business phone, home and business internet. NO MORE!!! I'm not going to waste my time writing a 30 page horror story about my experience with AT&T but almost anyone reading this UNDERSTANDS the frustration of dealing with them on ANY issue. The bottom line is that they ripped me off for the last time. I disconnected ALL of my services with them. There are better alternatives out there. 30 years ago, they were a decent company but now they conduct their business like dishonest Congressmen and corrupt media. To all the other "Victims" out there...I feel your pain! My solution is to never do business with them EVER again.

Been with them for two years it has been the worst company ever .1st year was ok but they added a lot more money on my bill without my knowledge in 2mos my bill was 400 and was paying 125 monthly | ATT

So they had me paying for movie channels that I didn't authorize. distraught I notified them about my service they told me they would work with me. They assure me if I would drop my bill down I had to cut my phone service which I had for 35 years. Now they tell me my bill will be 70 a month never happen. So they sent me another bill saying Ill be paying 133 a month .This company is very business

I totally agree with that. All their reward offers and trade in rebate takes hours and hours with jumping from one customer service number to another like a field hockey.

Unfortunately i have locked in but i wouldn't advise anyone. Also i am taking my story to media as this kind of company required a lesson to be learned.

File a complaint with the FCC. I was a customer for more than 20 years (cell & Directv) and cancelled both services not being told I would be billed for the entire month.

I filed a complaint and ATT called me immediately to discuss.

I am getting a refund for both. You can't charge someone for a service you are not providing...that should be illegal!

I tried to transfer my service on-line and after 30 minutes of errors, I call ATT. My call was dropped twice before I actually spoke with someone. He tried to transfer my account for me - and received the same errors. He said he would have to cancel my service but offered to transfer me to another team to see if they had options. The lady was laughing from the moment she picked up the phone and was zero help. Worst service ever. I asked for a transcript of the call and was told I had to go online to get. Worst experience - wasted over an hour of my time.

On 8/22 our UVerse DVR stopped working. All recordings are gone, and we're now also missing several channels on our other TVs. We spent an hour with their customer "service" who finally decided that our DVR has stopped working!! They said a new one would be shipped on...
