We were tired of fighting with Comcast over billing, so we jumped on an add for Internet and tv for $55 a month, for two years with att/DTV. Their sales person was sure that we qualified, and set up installation.

Nov 8 they install, and a few weeks later I get a bill for $122. I knew there would be a $30 service charge to start with. So I call, and they tell me I don’t qualify for this deal, and it’s going to be $80 a month, + a late fee(still no resolution to that). Now this month, the bill is $143, because they say that since I don’t qualify for the $55 deal, I don’t get the 90 days of free premium channels, and I owe them for the past few months of HBO and crap.

I have been on the phone with more than a dozen people, and everyone tries to explain why I’m wrong. Anybody have experience with resolving issues like this? # for att corporate in Colorado?

I want this system gone at this point, but I’m not going to screw my credit in doing that. Any leads would help
