att changed its Yahoo email customers months ago, and I've had problems signing into my emails, call after call, hours on the phone, weeks of this crap. All I get is, "Yes Yahoo email customers have had problems signing in, "it is an easy fix, will be done in 24 to 48 hours." Well about 300 hours later, This Telecommunications company doesn't know what the *** they're doing. I still cannot get signed in. Destiny, Taylor, Antonio(he got 1 email working,) and now Haley. Earlier, I posted a complaint about a company without creating (no wish to have account) an account on PissedConsumer.com. I am constantly getting notifications on complaint and wish to Opt-Out to stop receiving these annoying updates. I followed instructions and even tried to have my password (for account I never created) changed without a response.

ATT in Tacoma, Washington - Locked Email Account - Need to verify zip code from 20 years ago to unlock

I was an AT&T customer for approximately 10 years and have kept my att.net email address for going on 20 years. Just 3 days ago, I was locked out of my email account due to a supposed malware email that may or may not have been received. I have now tried unsuccessfully to have my email unlocked, but they are saying that the zip codes I have provided do not match with what their systems has. Which is odd since I provided every single zip code for the city of appleton, wi and some of the surrounding areas. I have told them this repeatedly, each and every single service tech, supervisor, and complaint line (which turns out was billing), and yet they keep asking me to provide them with the zip on the profile. How many times do I have to explain that the system was not provided with the correct information? I use this email for everything: banking, bills, personal email, resume/interviews...basically my life, and now I am being told that no one can help me. They have taken my email address from me and refuse to give it back because I am unable to provide a zip code for something that was set up for me at an AT&T store. I need this resolved and not to hear "I am sorry" or "Unfortunately...". That is not good enough. If I had the ability to affect the world and have them all dump AT&T at this point, I would. There should be alternate means in place for a person to verify their email. If I was a hacker trying to get into a specific email, I would not be calling tech support, talking to a supervisor, demanding results or anything, I would be moving on to the next email. There are easier ways to *** a person's email than working with your tech support staff, AT&T. So KUDOS to you for hiring the least helpful tech team and coming up with the worst way for a person to verify their own email address from 20 years ago, since I don't have bills from 6 years ago, it was a dry-loop hook up - so no phone number, and no matching zip code. I will never use AT&T again. No one should ever be locked out of their own email account with no real way to get control of it back.

So on friday the 14th of Aug 2015 I paid AT&T 149.00 for my bill that I owed via a live billing agent who promptly took my money with no problems, confirmed my wire maintenance was in place and told me to have a great day. I come home today mon the 17th and my dsl is suspended. I called tech support and talked to two different supervisor who basically told me to stuff it and call billing for my problem. They flat out refused to even tell me why it was suspended in the first place. We never download files, only facebook, games, streaming services and other allowed activities. Told me sorry, wait till tomorrow and call billing to find out why. So on friday when i PAID them the full bill they was so happy and friendly, today they suspended me with no phone calls, no email, no text, nothing and expect me to smile about it. Sad thing is i was standing in the suddenlink service office friday debating if i should change to their services instead of staying with att, boy did i bet on the wrong pony. Att can kiss another customer goodbye even if they gave me free dsl for a year I wouldnt take it

Att & T is a Nightmare

ATT & T was a nightmare from the word go. I refer to them as the "*** of the Cellular Phone Companies". They spammed me instantly with updates-I'm talking minutes here-about add ons, specials, cable (I don't do tv),becoming my ISP and above all, their incessant and continual texts about "How are we doing?" in about 20 different versions. Then came the above via email. And within days, my snail mail box was inundated with all their garbage. No matter HOW many times I asked, emailed, put it in writing to "Please only contact me concerning any overages or payment due." It came, the spam, the texts, the junk mail, all in massive and unwanted waves of pure, unwanted garbage. I finally saw the writing on the wall when, now, 2 hefty months later of rotten service, broken promises, paying 3 times what that phone cost, dropped calls, rude customer service personnel, long lines, lost text messages (a month's worth!) that they called me no less at 7:13 a.m. on Sunday for yet another of their surveys!The woman who answered at ATT & T actually said: "Oh, it will just take a moment. Honest". ON SUNDAY morning! My advice to anyone considering any service with ATT & T is to RUN! Run fast and hard, and never, ever look back.

AT&T is not the Nightmare you are.AT&T does not call anyone about their services this is why they use the via mail option.If AT&T is calling your home,You are one in a Million.They could care less about you as a person.All they have to do is flick a switch and close your account from their office.Their would be know reason to call you.Are you on SME type of Meds?If not you probably need to be.I have AT&T and I receive Excellent service at all times.Run away from this post is what is needed.

I am a single mother & a stranger knocked on my door after dark tonight. When I told her I wasn't interested, she held up her badge affixed to her shirt saying she was w/AT&T uverse.

I told her I wasn't interested & didn't care w/whom she was associated. Then she threatened to dig up my yard. I happened 2B on the ph w/my landlord @ the x.

I went outside to confront her, & told her to leave cuz this subdivision has a rule posted at the entrance re.: no soliciting.I am not interested in getting ripped off. *** her & her Xmas; she can go *** OBAMA!!!!!

ATT in Livermore, California - AT&T Lies to it's customer's and violates human rights

The tier 3 support for internet problems, "Connect Tech" is outsourced to India. The tech's in India "are not allowed to give their given/real names and have to invent or are given "Americanized names when they assist AT&T customers. This "Connect Tech" service at $15 a month is an AT&T service that is provided when AT&T USA employed techs cannot or are instructed not to further assist customers. I've spent over 6 hours in the last week trying to solve my AT&T email problem without conclusion except to keep checking if it's working or pay for the service they have outsourced to India. The service in India is primarily that Indian tech's will remote in to your computer, without being able to talk to you, so you have no knowledge about what they are doing to your computer. Seems like a VERY SCARY solution to me. AT&T wants only to cobble up competitors and then totally drop the ball on service. Getting solutions to service problems in the past year has caused me 20+ hours of telephone time and the equivalent of hours waiting for service technicians to problem solve at my home. All AT&T cares about is getting market share and then making it very difficult for customers to get problems resolved: just try talking to a real person-you'll spend plenty of time doing so, they don't make notes on your account, so you tell your "horror story" over and over again. As long as those revenues keep coming there is no concern for the customer or for employees trying to solve problems. I feel SO SAD being a 33 year employee of AT&T to see the direction and depths to which this company is going to secure the mighty dollar. Executives at this company make exponentially more than there senior employees. One of the biggest ills of this country. Bail out of AT&T.You are only supporting billion dollar executive salaries and golden handshake deals when they screw up.

I understand your pain. My laptop was wiped out by a connect tech technician.

I have been trying to cancel for 5 months.. How the *** is a tech in India going to help me with a problem and what makes it more terrible is that they use someone elses name. Therfore, they know all about you and you know nothing about them. That's fraud when you represent yourself and services as something and yet receive something else.

which is ***. I understand your pain Iam currently trying to get to the corporate office and the protect it like the crown jewel.

If I get anywhere in the nightmare I will pass it along. :(

This is what happens when you outsource jobs to third world shitholes with bottom of the barrel workers who get paid 25 cents a day and a bathroom break. These people know nothing about the product they support nor do they care. Anything for these companies to save money.

ATT internet "support services"

When I called tech support for ATT when I was suddenly not able to send and recieve emails, I got a lot of NOTHING!. The tech support was very limited and I was advised that I needed "advanced tech support" and connected to another area and was charged a one time fee of $45. The "Connect Tech" person took over my computer and checked out all the server settings and determined that all was okay in that department and began looking for a problem with my email syster, Outlook. I was eventually told that I was going to have to back up everything and reinstall Outlook for it to work again. I decided to take the computer down to a local tech support service and within 10 minutes they had diagnosed the problem as a SERVER problem not an OUTLOOK problem. They went in in changed the Iincorrect mail server numbers and my email system now works fine. When I called back to complain and request a refund I was politely given the run around and no refund was issued. I am disgusted with the poor service that ATT makes no attempt to provide customers.
