It happened May 25, 2019. Att repair men have been out here twice before on this same problem. When I call for repair, I am kept on my cel- phone for a very long time till they decide to sent a repair man days later. They want me to hold while they perform all their checks on the phone. They keep referring to the Router lights. When I tell them there is no lights. They want to know if they are red or green? It takes along time to run their checks and they are using up minutes on my cel-phone. I also lost caller ID. No phone service for a home that has a wheelchair/bed bound | ATT

Contacted AT&T lack of customer service department to report a phone outage. After over an hour and a half on the line with them there was no resolution to restore service in a timely manner. They did not care if the need arose to call 911 and my parents had no way to do so. As a nationwide company they were unable to provide service for over 24 hours which is unacceptable. They expect their payments to be on time, but in turn they don't provide timely service.

They are a communications provider, correct? Then why can't their customers reach a LIVE person without going through 10 minutes of dealing with a robot?! I have two lines, one of which I cannot call out on. I've called them 4 times on this issue. It hasn't been fixed. That was a year ago. My phone bill just skyrocketed from 229.00/mo for two lines, to 351.00/mo. HIGHWAY ROBBERY! If I could Sue these folks, I would. Dumping them asap. Nothing good to say about this company whatsoever!

Continual problems with phone line no results | ATT

Details
Well over a year, we drop calls and have static. AT&T says it is due to copper line. Have promised direct TV, due to recent agreement, they would replace with a T1 line. Obviously they have not even started the work. If I had any other choice I wouldn't chose AT&T for anything. I am rural area, if I have an emergency, anyone in my family would be dead since I have no access to an operable phone. Cell phone service does not reach here either. If you are considering AT&T DON"T DO EVEN CONSIDER IT! I am reporting to them public service commission in Frankfort Kentucky today. There is exactly 100 words.

Will no provide service to my residence | ATT

For 12 years I have contacted ATT in an attempt to get High Speed Internet service at my residence. I live in a semi rural area on a one mile street which service is available on both ends. Each time I contacted ATT they stated that there is not enough ports available and there is no optic fiber line to connect to. Now if I was somebody of importance, Gov. official, Police officer, Fireman, ect. I would have service. I might as well have lived in the middle of the desert. There was a time when ATT would be begging for your service and now its just a situation that as a individual you are just not important to them anymore. The last conversation with ATT on Feb. 3, 2017 the representative once again requested my phone number to be able to contact me if this situation changes to provide service. I stated, "what for since you haven't done anything in 12 years". Then she had the nerve to ask if I wanted Direct TV service, (which I have Dish, no service available from Charter either) and I responded, (why should I switch companies if you cannot even provide internet service). What a joke. 12 years ago I had my residential phone service disconnected since they are unwilling to provide upgraded line to provide internet just dialup, (back to the caveman era) If I had the money to build my own satellite company to get service or buy out ATT just to close their doors I would do so. Thanks ATT for being such a look out for rich and the *** with a unimportant person company

AT&T treated me like total garbage from beginning to end | ATT

AT&T is the worst company ever. I was three days late with my payment and they cut off my home phone service with no warning. Then they demanded a 50 dollar fee to turn it back on - even though my wife had been a customer for 15 years and I also had cellphone service with them as well has home phone service. Even canceling their cellphone service ( I won't do business with them anymore of course ) was a huge hassle - the call center was in the Phillipines, and they demanded a pin number and then refused to use email for the pin number ( I email - I don't do texting ). They treat their call-center people like slaves and robots and dealing with them is very aggravating. In my whole life - I have never felt as disrespected by a corporation as AT&T.

Pissed off too | ATT

Had to do my yearly change plan this month, which I hate. Told I could keep same plan plus get a house phone for the same price. Att failed to give me the option to have a private line and failed to tell me my number would be sold to tele marketers. My phone rang off the hook with them. Called att and got a private line. It's now been 15 hours and many phone calls later and my phone has still not been activated. Last call to a supervister was told couldn't use the new number and was given yet another new number which for some reason couldn't be activated until tomorrow . I am so pissed and have spent most of the day talking to people who know nothing . They wanted to charge me $99 for ME plugging the phone into my modem. This is what happens when businesses are outsourced and people don't speak or understand the language I speak. And tomorrow is another day.

AT & T | ATT

I have been having the worst time with AT & T land phone services. You call for help and to report issues and you keep being transferred to overseas to reps who can't help you nor understand your issues. AT & T does not care about their customers nor their concerns. My telephone went out Monday (11-21-16) and most of Tuesday (11-22-16) due to an outage and when repaired I had a continued loud buzz noise on the phone, other people talking on the line and when they make a call you can hear the phone ringing on the line. I called AT & T repair about this matter and I am told it will be next week before it is repaired. I tried to get someone in the US to give me credit for this inconvenience and I keep getting overseas and they offer no help at all. This is so frustrating and it truly sucks! AT & T has declined tremendously in the way they handle issues and their customers. I am told they don't even have a number for their corporate office by the overseas reps - can you believe that. We need more companies to come on board and give AT & T and Comcast some competition and maybe they will put in practice better service and customer service relations in the USA.

12-13 Technicians have ben to my house and I still don't have a landline that has worked for a full day since September 30, 2016. Was supposed to be hooked up and done on September 16, 2016 but didn't get don and the "NEXT" available appointment was September 30,2016. I still don't have a phone that works for a full day. Technicians say it's fixed and not more than an hour it does the same thing and then there are ones that say they don't know why they were sent here because they don't know anything about "FIBER OPTICS"!!!

I was told when I called at&t my contract was up a month earlier than it actually was.,so I ended up terminating a month before my contract was actually up Got a bill from them and they are charging me $210.00 for early termination, my bill is normally $115.00 a month but instead of using thst dollar amount for early termination they charged $105.00 per phone. What a rip off.
