12-13 Technicians have ben to my house and I still don't have a landline that has worked for a full day since September 30, 2016. Had ATT for over ten years. I could not get U-VERSE because they needed to make holes through a brick wall and I lived in a condo. However, they continued to call me and make relentless offers for VOIP instead of the landline that I had. AT&T has very sneaking billing schemes.They'll promise you one price then if you call back, say the agent was not authorized to offer you that price and that they didn't put it in the system. If you persist, they will find it. on Mar 3 2016, I ordered an ATT landline and was told the work would be completed in 5 days including a number port. 2 weeks later we find out that ATT needs to verify information by third party to complete the work. I paid my bill, have cancelled check and can't get anyone to talk or credit it to my account. I have been on holding on the customer service phone line (800-288-2020) for 20 minutes. I tried the online chat and it was no help. The rep just kept telling me to pay my bill. I have moved my small business account to another provider and i will move my residential account when I move to a new house in May.

I have had ongoing issues with my phone service and find that they are not only hard to get but when you do get them and get an appointment scheduled they rarely keep the appointment. They always have the same reason, we're under an emergency and don't have to keep appointments. Doesn't matter to them if you took time off for it or if you go weeks without a working phone. Comcast is looking better and better.

I was told when I called at&t my contract was up a month earlier than it actually was.,so I ended up terminating a month before my contract was actually up Got a bill from them and they are charging me $210.00 for early termination, my bill is normally $115.00 a month but instead of using thst dollar amount for early termination they charged $105.00 per phone. What a rip off.
