So you placed over 30 telephone calls ? At what point, if any, did you realize that your method was ineffective ?

Damage claims must be placed in writing and served via Certified Mail return receipt requested. You must substantiate your claims, place a cost value upon it, and state the remedy which will satisfy the claim. You must state a time period for action ( 7 business days is AOK ) prior to escalation of your claim. Be factual, be brief, be polite yet firm.

It is imperative that such claims be fully documented and placed in a verifiable timeline. Of course ATT ruined your property ; Dominion ruins mine and I watch them like a turkey vulture anytime they are around ....

Moved. Billed me for a land line I did not have. Said I had to wait 2 mos. to have internet connected. Directtv was “hooked up”; 2 appts 1 week apart, still doesn’t connect properly. Want me to return equipment I gave to the tech. Oh, and there is more. I have never in my life dealt with such a greedy, our way or the highway but it will cost you company. Would love to be done with them, but I would have to pay dearly. Do not understand how they get away with the stunts they pull.

ATT - Claim denial after tech destroyed by home

After a technician drilled one hole to drop a wire, my home is left with partial power, damaged appliances and electronics and myself to pay for it all. The electric company stated we needed to go after AT&T.... Which I ended up doing.. Since the technicians boss stated his employee followed proper protocol (he wasn't here at anytime to observe proper protocol) Sedgwick says they aren't liable. Just wanted to add as the drilling was going on my son's surge protector blew up and all power was out. But hey he followed proper protocol. Not one person has come out to assess damage other than Georgia Power. How is a denial possible without assessment? The boss coming out after the fact means nothing. This isn't the first case of its kind, so be sure you follow the techs around and watch what they are doing because you may end up with a home worse than mine.

I am a professional in the customer service industry and have been for 15 years. This is the worst customer service experience I have ever seen or experienced. My husband and I moved to an area that unfortunately for us, AT&T is the only internet service for our area. We have made an appointment for service installation. The technician never showed and didnt call to reschedule the appointment. We had to call and reschedule the appointment after days went by without any communication for the company. The second appointment the technician came out on the wrong day when no one was home trespassing on our property, he then ran a line through our property and didnt bury the line., all preforming this without us being at home. With still no internet and now an exposed cable running down the middle of the yard we still do not have internet. We rescheduled another appointment to have a tech come out to the house and an automated system called us late the night before to inform us that they have changed or appointment to the 14th of August, today is the 4th. So, they are now telling us that in the addition of having to wait for internet already for 4 weeks now it will be an additional 10 days longer. When my husband called to complain he was hung up on by the representative when asked to speak to a manager. I then decided to get involved. I called and was passed around, out on hold, and had to waste an hour of my day only to end up with having to ask for a manager. I will not accept another reschedule of our time, and I expect a tech to come out today. After spending this hour phone call talking to the representative at work he informed me that it would be Tuesday before a tech could come out. I asked to speak to a manager and I was hung up on as well. I am currently seeking legal action as well as communicating with the better business bureau on the wrong doings, missed days of work, as well as the aggravation and stress etc.. STAY AWAY FROM ALL AT&T SERVICES!

Details
We just moved into a new house and thought we would try att uverse since you can now get internet and security with them as well. NIGHTMARE! Spent 3 hours on the phone talking to somebody who "set up" our account. Got confirmation email so we thought it was good to go.
