We did the whole trade-in help you switch what-have-you from Verizon to AT&T.They said they would use the credit from our trade-ins (a nice iPhone 6 and a Galaxy S6) to pay our final Verizon bill. Then, we'd get the remaining amount on the gift card. Well, we got the gift card a few weeks later and the amount was correct, so we assumed our bill was paid. WRONG! Verizon sent us a letter from a collection agency demanding $700. AT&T, in the...

You are lead to believe that you will get up to 650 per phone that switches as long as it qualifies, and I would like one person to give me proof they have ever received that amount, it's laughable at this point to believe anything att says. Anyway we had 5 of the 8 lines that qualified for this program and that was two months ago and still haven't received any money to pay towards my bill at Verizon. But the wait time is one thing but the fact...

I was told that this $ 6.39 charge on my bill was for them to recover some of their tax cost to be in business in the state of Texas. Also I,m having to pay $ 3.63 extra for a "Regional Sports Fee", for sports channels that were in my package, something about how it is in Texas. I've never had a recovery fee on any net work before. Even on a cel phone that fee is just a few cents per phone on AT&T, their parent company. To get out from under this...

Miss Betsy

Miss Betsy A "franchise fee" is something Time Warner Cable has always charged - until very recently after being bought by Spectrum. We as customers were forced to pay THEIR tax for bein...

Wow, I had a similar experience.I traded in a phone that was being rented and was told that the phone was only worth $5 and that I wasn't eligible for the program because the phone was less than $10. The next day I spent close to 3 hours on the phone until I reached a rep in the northern Ill. office who shared with me that on that particular day the price dropped from $10 to $5. Prior to this happening, I had talked to about 3-4 reps about the...

Well, I can see from the internet (not just this site) that the AT&T switcher program is a complete scam. up to 650 PER LINE Did 2 lines on the family program leaving VERIZON Owed 500 and change on a brand new NOTE 5, gave me 200 credit for it (umm ya thanks). Still owed 300 I said fine I'll get that back from AT&T anyway. The ETF was $295. Total Due ME $595 right. Now that is well with in the $650 Switcher Program cap for THIS LINE. Line 2: ...

DO NOT DO the switcher offer!!!I mailed in 4 devices from the previous carrier using the label that was sent to me with the original order and my credits were denied because "there is no record of receiving my trade". I have contacted customer service and the store in person numerous times and no one is able to assist me in locating my phones that I sent in. I did not keep a copy of the label because I did not think that I had to keep the label...

I went to AT&T with the intentions of doing the "Switch Offer" which included the opportunity to receive up to $650 per line for your switch.I was advised by store management that this offer would cover ALL expenses for the final bill for T Mobile the final bill was over $2,000.00 and I followed the proper steps in making sure upload and submit the information to AT&T. I never received any money for the switcher (besides the trade in at the...

Anonymous im going thrugh the very same situation

I am also a long-time DirecTV customer and found the offer of unlimited data coupled with the buy one, get one free iPhone promotion very attractive. When I switched I was also told I was entitled to have up to $650 per line of credits/reimbursements to cover any early termination fees I would have to pay to Verizon. I completed my transaction over the phone and my new phones were shipped to me in February. There were NO instructions as to...

I switched from TWC to direct tv with att internet service. After talking to rep on phone for a long time, we came to terms. I would recieve cable tv , internet, and home phone line for $89 per month plus $4.93 for regional sports(FSW). They thru in $200 worth of gift cards and a free tablet( had to pay taxes on tablet of $40 , which I thought was high because it suggest that the tablet was worth $400, but I thought it was worth $40 so I agreed...
