ATT - Stopped shipping local channel connector kits

I called 9/5/2019, spent 2 hours and 30 minutes on the phone before I got someone that actually helped. He said that he was shipping the local channel connector kit, got an email confirmation, but the order was cancelled because they are not shipping it anymore. Because it was not effective in some areas. But they cannot say it will be ineffective at my location. Yet have been without local FOX channel for over 90 months and now without local NBC channel 24 hours before first NFL game of the year. When will this end. Pay so much for service, then add NFL Sunday Ticket, NHL Center Ice and can't watch games that I am supposed to get with those subscriptions because local channels are blocked.

ATT in Daphne, Alabama - US senators send letters to AT&T

Last week July 9th US senators Doug Jones from Alabama and Richard Blumenthal from Connecticut sent letters to AT&T in an effort to help get a resolution to the senseless dispute with Nextstar who owns the television stations that were dropped from the Uverse and Direct TV lineup. Meanwhile the consumers continue to suffer.

ATT - Complete Incompetent Employees

Details
Have had an issue with on demand and program downloads for the whole 1 1/2 years we have had direct tv. Have gone through 3 receivers and countless hours on the phone and actually got a $25.00 credit for my trouble. No one in the entire ATT structure can seem to fix it nor do they seem to care. Sad day when a company can not deliver on there promises.

Since I changed my tv and internet to ATT, it has been a nightmare. Internet is so bad. The tv is the worst. I complained and they say the will send a tech to my home. That was months ago. I am still waiting..... Sometimes I come home to watch tv and it does not work....

ATT - AT&T /Direct TV

This not A Review this is A Pissed off Consumer!! This Company is Really Terrible with their Price Gauging they will continue to find fees to Charge you,I was with them Six and half years my bill started out at $50.00 two TVs as the months went by the fees came with what package you get etc. My bill went to $100-150 dollars, I did'nt have that kind of money to pay since Im a disabled Senior and get a check once a month anyway I tried to keep it going but do you know they found more fees,interest etc. So I have let it go I have other bills and a person have to eat ,Now they sent me a letter November 24 to send the equipment back the TV boxes etc. Then next day November 25 I got a Final bill for 750.00!!!#** I said they got to be Sick! to just do this I called them they said they were Charging for no return of equipment and early Cancellaton fee,I told them Im sending the equipment Back and how can I get a early cancellation fee When I been A Customer for Almost Seven years. So They said they will fix the Bill , Yes I know they will But If God my witness I will not Do Business with Them again Times are too Hard to Line AT&T and Direct TV Pockets. They can have This Company ,They should be made to pay All the Customers back fees. Etc.Oh well My House just got Quieter ,No TV watching for me .

ATT - Verbal contract and lousy service

On 11/1 I tried to send a text , and I was not able to. I called AT&T, and asked why they had blocked my ability to text. They informed me that I had I a contract with them for internet service that I had not honored, and owed them money for the remainder of the contract. The reason I cancelled the At&t service was for bad service for which they replaced 2 receivers which were also bad ,and the TV would cut off often. I told them that the internet contract did not include the cell service. AT&T bundled all the services w/o my consent. I had cell service with them for more than a year and wanted to keep the billing separate. They ignored my request. When I cancelled my service I asked if I owed any money and I was told no. I am very disappointed with AT&T for using underhanded means to make money. If they offered good service there would be no reason to change to other providers. Dolores Luna (408) 533- 5292

I went into Walmart in Fayette, Alabama where there was a salesman for direct tv. I was looking to switch from dish but wasn’t quite ready at that time. He went through everything said we will give you $225 to pay off dish early termination fee, plus you get this unlimited data plan and will save money on it. So I was going to save money on my satellite have a better plan at a minimal lower payment. I signed up took the sheet to the att store in fayette alabama and she said yes you will save about 5 dollars but will have unlimited data a better plan. I got my first bill it was significantly higher, I called and they said oh this is just one time prorated charges, the next month it was high again. I called back and the response was off course it’s going to be more it’s a better plan. Still no resolution, and the kicker is that they sent me a $225 Walmart card. I don’t want the wal mart card I want the prepaid card to pay dish off with. So now if I cancel dish they are gonna charge my card 300 dollars, so I am paying two satellite bills. Stay away from att and direct tv.
