Beware! This is consumer fraud at its finest. Internet speed is very slow using 3G technology with limited 4G about 1 MB/sec if you're lucky. If you go on Facebook or watch a few YouTube videos, which will need time to buffer, you will be charged massive data overage fees. One Netflix movie will cost you $1,000+ in overage fees. The lock was cut off and the only reason we know it was related to AT&T is because they are currently adding underground lines in our neighborhood for u-verse service. What gives them the right to cut us off and leave us unable to access our services during this 3 day holiday weekend? Of course there is no way to contact them. AT&T is penalizing their customers, by increasing U-verse customers data allowance billing $10.00 more and the data allowance is only 50GB and the maximum overage charge will b $100.00. if you do not bundle in their DirectTV as they want all their customers to do. The worst expereince possible with att. I canceled my att uverse account with them and while canceling i asked the representative if I need to return the modem and the answer was no you don't. Then after 2 months of cancelation, I get a bill for $172 for unreturned equipment. I tried to talk with them and let them know that the representative told me I don't need to return the equipment. So, I end up speaking with 6 people in one day for 2 hours...
