So we signed up with AT&T Wireless for a new line. We asked the rep about international calling and she assured us it would not be a problem.

Conveniently, the rep does not setup the service - upon calling their sub-par customer service reps we are told there is a 3 month moratorium on calls (before international calling can be activated) as a risk management measure... BUT if we secure the 10G plan then magically the moratorium and risk management measure would no longer apply...! ??? What? Really?

This is the a-typical switch and bait -- and told them so but of course they denied it and attempted to explain it away through corporate jargon...

So... Buyer be ware - if you require international calling on your wireless plan, you are better off with T-Mobile or Verizon... Or play along with AT&T and their switch and bait plans where they play the ignorance card and force you into plans that you do not need...
