I cancelled services for big internet and DirecTV. Had refund from DirecTv that was more than my final bill for internet.
Was told not to pay the internet charge, that it would be taken from my refund.
Continued to get a bill and finally a letter stating they were sending me to collections. When I called, it took almost 2 hours and over 5 people, and 5 times explaining that, no they couldn’t pull the money from my refund as DirecTv is separate from AT&T with billing.
