ATT in Los Angeles, California - Poor Services - Stay Away!

I have the bundle package with AT&T (internet, cable, phone). Every night my internet connection goes out which makes my phone service go out which makes my home security system falsely go off. The only way to turn off the system is to have it disconnected then I would have to pay to have it reconnected. While watching TV my cable has fuzz on the screen and goes out periodically. The phone will disconnect in the middle of a conversation and then you can't get a live line for several hours. So frustrating. I have called several times to tech support. They are NO help! They have replaced every single part inside and outside the house and service still does not work. The technician refuses to take the old parts and says I have to go to the UPS store to mail them back or I will be charged up to $300+. AT&T refuses to give me a refund even though I have not had any service for couple of months. When they finally agreed to give me a small credit, it was never applied to my account and now I am having to fight to get that credit. I just cancelled my service and am going with another company. My recommendation is stay away! They will lure you in with a low price and then jack it up immediately. Plus the services doesn't work so you are basically handing AT&T a lot of money for nothing and when you call to get things fixed they could careless and make it inconvenient for you when they do finally decide to send an incompetent technician to your home. Extremely sad that AT&T would treat a long term customer in this manner!

ATT - AT&T - U-Verse is as incompetent as it gets
a telephone pole on our block burned, the whole block has been out of service. Each time I call the 800 number, I'm outsourced to some random country where the agents, Ma'am - so sorry - and state your name back to you to death, and practically read off of a script - and schedule you service calls that fall into a 4 hour window, and not only does nobody show up as you wait in your home (as if your time is worthless), but not one person calls you to tell you nobody is showing up. This has now gone on for 6 days straight, and yet not one engineer has been up that burnt out pole to fix it. The pole stays idle, our services on our whole block stays out, and the robot agents haven't one clue of what is going on. All in all I'd say that incompetent is putting it lightly. in my opinion the company should have a class action law suit on their hands and/or should be shut down completely for failing their loyal customers this badly. Horribly frustrating. I forgot to mention that they credit you a measly $5 dollars a day to cover the time you've spent waiting for nobody to show, the level of frustration and stress they cause you because you get nowhere with any agent or supervisor except more choreographed apologies, and the loss of money you get because you can not work from home with no internet service!!! Pathetic and I highly recommend that NOBODY choose this service provider or any that they now own. A monopoly of sheer frustration. Here's a picture of that burnt out pole and notice not one engineer is shown attempting any kind of solution or fix. Thanks for nothing, useless service provider, except for raising all our blood pressures.
