Don't use AT&T...Customer Service is horrible! | ATT review

After spending hours trying to have them fix my ability to login, I find their slogan "AT&T Cares" more than a joke. When I try to login in, it sends a code to my device to verify it's me. The problem is they are sending it to a device that doesn't have a SIM card (ie a watch). I've tried for days to get them to send the code to one of my cell phones. Yesterday, they said a Level 2 supervisor would resolve and call me within 10 minutes! I'm on hold again for probably the 10th time. How do they stay in business and advertise "AT&T Cares"?

AT&T is a greedy moneysucking company! | ATT review

Details
In my free time I get old phones from they recycling center and give them to the homeless people in my city so they can talk to their family. Most of the old phones use 2G and recently AT&T shut down 2G. Really AT&T, AT&T just cares about the rich people who pay $1000 for new iphones and doesn't care about the old phones at all! I called AT&T and asked them if they can keep 2G towers online in my city and my charity would pay for it, but they said no and even called me the N-Word! What the heck? Why does AT&T hate the poor people? They are so greedy and only care about money.

They are a business. 2G is no longer profitable, and they have to pay for the 2G bands it is not as simple as leave equipment run until it stops working.

It is not profitable and cost money every few years. Also 2G banding and parts for the transmitters are going away.

Wait so they should devote bandwidth to an archaic system for a few thousands of ppl vs. the millions of other customers who want 5g?

Yeah just upgrade your *** phone and move on. There is literally nothing you can do about it. It’s their system. They pay to run it.

If you don’t like it, well that’s too damn bad. Go somewhere else. Don’t hate others for being better then you at using smartphones. Be a better you and learn how.

Not what expected | ATT review

Details
Months of poor internet signal, no techs or customer service people able to resolve problems. if cancel service will charge you regardless, collect in advance for a full month, no refunds or pro-rating not very ethical, no good business practice. Do not appreciate old good customers. A giant going down for lack of good service and high rates and tricky billings.

One of the worst companies out there. Poor service, no communication between corporate, sales, and service, and downright corrupt when it comes to billing ("We see the error but we don't know how to fix it so maybe you could just pay it this once and we can try and fix it later").

How do they stay in business? The FCC really needs to investigate this awful corporation.

Generally, the people who came around your home selling AT&T are not AT&T employees but work for satellite locations under Cydcor or Smart Circle. These people are independent contractors and work on 100% commission.

They don't get paid if they don't make sales and they are well-known for falsifying paperwork to make it look like they got a sale. You can search here at this site on Cydcor and Smart Circle. I would stand my ground, let AT&T know you are well aware of the dishonest practices that goes on with this outside salespeople and file complaints with the BBB, your state's Attorney General's Office and the FTC. Get your local media involved too, in the way of contacting a troubleshooter.

Most local news stations have one. And you can always consult a lawyer.
