New ReviewerI purchased an iPhone 17 Pro Max from AT&T about a month ago. When I tried to unlock it so I could add an international eSIM, I used my AT&T app, and they asked for two requests so they could unlock my iPhone within 48 hours.
The first request was that the phone had to be paid off. Second, I had to be under an AT&T contract and correct, so I fulfilled both requests and waited 48 hours, but nothing happened. It still says I am not eligible to unlock it. I went ahead and chatted with support, and they said I cannot unlock it because I have to wait 60 days?!!
I don't think they mentioned anything like that in my AT&T app.
Where did that come from??? I can't believe I have been a loyal customer for more than two decades and received this kind of treatment.
