The matter is NOT Resolved. I just typed out a rather lengthy up-date and it just mysteriously disappeared and this site keeps trying to say it is resolved. I will try again later, but no, as much as the slick people at ATT want it to disappear, it is not resolved.

In my situation involving AT&T and SunTrust Bank it was finally determined(with a lot of time spent) that AT&T was the culprit all along. After my sending a letter to the AT&T Presidents office I was contacted by one of the employees to apparently be assured that it was all my fault and there was nothing to be done about the fact that I have lost $20,000 paying for some ridiculous phone plan that I never signed up for.

If AT&T could show me that I did indeed authorize the monthly deduction I suppose the matter would be settled. They didn't. They also said I should have contacted them sooner. I did attempt to contact them several times to no avail.

Pardon me for having a stroke and being found disabled by the Social Security Administration during these years. I really did not realize this problem was still going on! Un-limited long distance?? I don't remember the last time I called long distance and would have no use for such a plan.

Anyway, the matter is not resolved. I primarily want to say that SunTrust was not at fault, indeed they were very helpful in the investigation of the situation.

ATT - Frauds and liars at Smyrna, Georgia AT&T location

I was lied to at the store at Smyrna, Georgia (30080) when I went to get At&T connection for having $80 for mobile connection, now that I see my bill I am charged $120; why is that so? Why are there frauds at AT&T? I spoke to customer care for more than 1 hour and I was just being beaten round the bush... ATT in Atlanta, Georgia - BUNDLE WARNING

I signed up for a $89.99 bundle in May of this year after 15 years with our cable provider. Ended up being charged two separate bills and as of today they have not corrected it. Seems like a bait & switch to me. Double check those advertised specials!!!!!!!!!! {{Redacted}}

I cannot believe the level of poor service AT&T continues to provide year over year. I have been an AT&T customer for many years now. Why I am still a customer is a whole other question. Started with phone service then signed up for U-verse and now DirecTV. If you can live with the dropped calls and weak signal I guess the cell service is passable. U-verse is a different story. Since having it my TV constantly freezes. Recently switched to DTV and after a week that service has been less than reliable. The area that truly is frustrating is when you call customer service. All of my experiences have been terrible. I have never once called in and reached the right department, I have never been transferred to the right department, I have never been able to get one call resolution. The reps that are either off shore or near shore have difficulty understanding simple conversations. Today for example I spent over two hours trying to get an installation resolved and I spoke to over 13 different reps that transferred me from one department to the next some multiple times and still didn't get my issue resolved. I finally used chat and the person either was not reading my messages or just couldn't understand them and I ended up having to re-type the same thing multiple times. I finally decided to call corporate at 210-821-4105 trying to reach the executive offices to voice my concerns. When you do this you have get connected to a complaint department. I spoke to a Chris Carey who listened for the most part until he tried to justify their broken process. At that point his tone turned condescending and somewhat confrontational. If have the choice to use someone other than AT&T....I strongly recommend that you do so.

There is no exageration about having the worse customer experience dealing with AT&T. I have been with them for over years and have a family, business and personal line which I'm moving all my accounts off of. I have had my bill increase through out this year. Last week I had called in to make a payment arrangement to take care of the past due by end of month which I was assured it was ok. I did a payment that week and was told I could take care of the rest later. To my surprise my phone was disconnected today. I called in to see what was going on and the first rep actually saw there was a disconnect and potential error so offered a credit to offset the restoration fee. I asked to speak to a manager and got a Page Jones on the phone. Right from the start she was rude, ignorant, kept cutting me off and on top of everything told me she pretty much could waive the fee but she would not at all. I have had it with AT&T's incompetent business model and employees. I have been a loyal customer for years but there's is not reciprocation to their customers. They're all about money and horrible service. I can't wait to leave this com!pany

I have an AT&T go phone account. I am on a monthly prepaid plan of $45. Since i am on auto renewal they are givingme a five dollar discount andcharging me $40. Back in February they overcharged me by $10. Upon calling them and sorting the matter out they credited $10 to my prepaid account. Now begins the fun. They said that they are not going to send me acheck for the amount refunded. To use the $10 they credited back to account, the representative asked me to take jp International calling. I told her that I am not going to take Internatiol plan just to usethe $10 that they overcharged. I asked her to adjust the amount when they do auto renewal. She said since it was auto renewal she cannot change the auto renewal plan. She suggested that i take my plan off auto renewal and manually adjust the amount. But then I would loose the $5 discount that I am getting for auto renewal. So basically they are keeping the money that was refunded to me. But insted of giving it tome they are making sure that I cannot get hold of the money and making it impossible for me to use the money. They are keeping the money themselves. This calls for a class action suit
