I called AT&T customer service to cancel my Direct Tv Sunday NFL ticket package. The representative would not proceed with my request, but launched into a sales pitch for a service package.

No matter what I said, no matter how many refusals I gave, the service person would not relent !! I was talked over, repeatedly asked for my credit card numbers. The rep refused to proceed with my request, moving from one offer to the next. I finally hung up, because I could not get a response to MY refusals.

This happened three separate phone calls. The number I called was 800 831 5000, and the total elapsed time wasted was over 40 minutes. My overall experience with AT&T has been horrible from the get-go.

From lying salesperson to lousy service, I regret buying from them, and I cannot wait to escape. NEVER AGAIN !!!

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

I didn't like: Unethical practices, Unmet promises.
