The same thing has happened to me. Went to the authorized retail store in feb.

2017 and was offered the promotion. I noticed that I was getting charged for the phone and called Att.

They said the authorized retailer offered it and there is nothing they can do. the Authorized retailer denies ever having the free I Phone 7 promotion.

How do you get a class action lawsuit started. They have used my auto pay for someone's bill in Texas.

They told me they had redeposited the money back into my account, and lied about putting my money back into my checking account.

I told them to stop my auto pay, they told me they stopped the auto pay, and it is still being used by the customer in Texas. There should be recourse for them stealing from your checking account.

Just ignore any bills as you are not responsible for them and if you get any calls about them just tell them she is deceased and give out no further information. A similar thing happened to us.

They will go away eventually.

Just remember you are not responsible and make sure you don't pay them to make it go away. Have a nice Christmas.

We set up an appointment a week ago (july 23rd) for that saturday to have them come out and reinstall our service in our new home. Called twice to confirm and they stated the same date. Saturday (July 30th) rolls around and the technician scheduled was nowhere to be found. We called then and were then told the appointment was not set for that weekend, but for the next saturday (august 6th). After a bit of negotiating they managed to upsell us on a DirecTV bundle in exchange for promised installation scheduled for today (monday, august 1st) at 11 am. They failed to show up again. Another call was made and we were told we were scheduled for the 5th and will not see a tech until then. Heavily disappointed. If it werent for the fact that xfinity is booked solid, we would be switching.

ATT in Chicago, Illinois - AT&T misleading plan changes affecting new customer discounts

Worst service ever! I was told when I got my phones ported from Verizon wireless after being a customer that I would receive $300 credit for each phone I ported to ATT. With that incentive I decided to give ATT a try considering I was expecting $600 (2 lines). Considering this is a large credit I contacted ATT several times to check when it would be hitting my account. One of the representatives told me that you do not need to be on the Unlimited plan to receive the credit. My wife and I did not need more than 5gb of data per month so I reduced my plan about 2 months in from the Unlimited plan to the 5gb plan. This literally saved only $30-$40 per month not a considerable amount but worth taking action and with ATT's word that this change will have no impact on my $600 credit I have been waiting on. So I switched and to the 5gb plan and contacted a month later to check on my credits. Again saying they will be coming and should hit your next bill cycle. Well I waited for another month nearly 4 months in and called ATT again. This time after about 1 1/2 hours on the phone I was told sorry you do not qualify. You needed to be on the unlimited plan for 3 months. I told my story and even said don't you have records or my phone call conversation recorded showing I was told changing my plan would have no impact on these credits? They told me we do not record all phone call conversations and do not have a record. They took a while and finally said sorry we can't do anything you did not meet the 3 months criteria on the unlimited plan. I was livid considering they were the ones that told me I did not need to keep the unlimited plan to receive the credit. Had I been told you need to do so I would gladly pay $30-$40 more for a $600 return!! This is crazy I am planning on changing back to Verizon where I should have stayed... My wife was right!

Repeated failed attempts to Simply? pay my phone bill! For an HOUR+, auto-pay, virtual assistant, failed to respond to my verbal or auto. requests. Even when transferred to a LIVE customer service rep., requested or not, communication failed, especially, when reaching a foreign site. Philippines? I also have concern using personal financial date in those sites. Even, U.S. sites have failed, at one point, quoting a wrong phone number as mine. Who wants to pay into a system like that? So many more frustrating and unproductive Mess-ups! My bill still is not paid. Attempting to pay phone bill, I was ***'t. connected to U Verse.

Att treat their customers like idiots and get away with it. I was offered to switch my uverse tv & internet to Dtv and uverse internet for less than my current plan. The offer included faster internet and the ultimate Dtv option. I started getting email confirmation that showed different price than what i agrred to and a uverse technician visit that i did not schedule. I called about both. I lost a vacation day and 4 days without internet. Each of those days i had to inconvenience myself for 4 different technicians. In addition there was lost time explaining to different customer ripoff reps what i agreed to and the discrepancy on their email corresspondence. The last rep i spoke with determined the offer i received was for new customers only. It was the most annoying and to no avail conversation trying get them to accept responsibility for what was clearly a blatant deception whether intentional or not. No one in their right mind would accept a promo to pay more when what they already have is good enough. Bottom line is this rep was on the clock getting paid to waste my time and i had to bear the burden of reducing my Internet speed, dropping to a lower Dtv package and paying more than i was prior to this fiscal ambush. I am just one customer but eventually att will not provide any service for me for anything. I hope the execs from att read this and realize how putrid their customer relations is.

ATT is the worse company to do business with. I recently ordered internet with ATT. they had an online offer of $35.00 with a $7.00 equipment feed for 75mbps. I took advantage of the great offer so I though. ON the day of installation I received 18mbps with a price of $57.00 a month not including the equipment fee. I immediately called them and try to resolved the issue, they kept me on hold for hours and transferring my calls to different departments. They never resolved my issue so I cancelled the service and went with Xfinity. I am so happy that I made the change. I will never ever would recommend ATT or use their services in the future. the worst company to do business with. I am also filling a complaint with the attorney general of the state of Illinois.
