I called to cancel my account, they had a customer retention rep call me and they offer to cut my bill in half, of course that didn't happen. Called back in 2 weeks later and went through the same routine.

Finally canceled my account and was told by that rep they would back date the cancellation due to the inconvenience of the lying reps, of course that didn't happen either. Now AT&T is trying to charge me for the entire time because, of course, none of the info is noted on the account. I chatted online with several of the reps and was told my final bill would be much less than what I was being told by their customer service reps.

3 months have gone by and I just received my final bill for the full amount. I called in and spoke to a team leader (supervisor) and after being on the phone for half an hour I had to hang up because I was not getting anywhere with the supervisor either.

Product or Service Mentioned: Att Customer Care.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.
