On or about February 10, 2023 I received my monthly statement from ATT business internet showing a large increase on my bill. I called ATT customer service (customer retention) and asked why the increase?, I was told my promotion ran out.

I asked for a better deal and was told no. Yesterday I called ATT customer service to officially cancel my business internet, which took over 2 hours. The ATT customer representative (Myles) was putting me on hold time and time again. I got so frustrated by the stalling and put on hold tactics waiting for my cancellation confirmation number that I finally hung up and called back asking to talk to a supervisor, supervisor never called me.

I called back again and I was finally told that my business internet was cancelled and I got the confirmation number... Today I called cutomer service and asked for a closing statement only to be told that will cost me an extra $5 dollars. Obviously ATT will put you on hold and then play games until you give up and cave into them. All in total I have spent about 2.5 hours trying to deal with ATT customer service over this simple matter.

ATT is losing a lot of customers because of their total disregard for good paying customers by playing games with on hold times, rude customer service and raising prices for accounts for no good reason, customers are not stupid, especially me. Nobody should have to put up with this treatment.

User's recommendation: Run don't walk away from ATT.

Monetary Loss: $400.
