AT&T has "in-home advisers", who are rather like old-time traveling salesmen. One came to our home with a Directv repairman at a time when our Verizon contract was at an end. I listened and oh what a great deal I was going to get!! Free this, reduced that, discounts, perks, great service nationwide PLUS my personal contact to my "in-home adviser". I signed up and at first all went well. HOWEVER, as soon as the trial period was over things changed. My quote for $266 a month for a family plan is now and has been since July 2019 a whopping $326 a month. AND I get absolutely no response from my personal adviser.

My internet has constantly disconnected since the day it was installed. They can't seem to fix it. I'm paying for FiberOptic 100 but it continually drops. It drops about once per minute. I have literally burned up DVRs because they are continually looking for an IP address. When watching streaming on Apple TV, I get "you are no longer connected to the internet." I replaced the router and finally got ATT to admit that I have "intermittent service." ATT either doesn't show up for the appointment or arrives incredibly late. No update. Just told to sit here and wait hour after hour after hour. Do they think that people have nothing else to do? They aren't the only game in town and they are about to lose a customer.

I am having one *** of a time getting credit back from the phones I returned.. I never activated them, sent them back in 3 days unblemished..I have home service with them.. they charged me for phones .. no credits returned.. now they have suspended home service. I have spoken with agents (by the way are very good) but t..I have other issues that I would rather not air on here... I full intend to go to better business bureau... I am 69 years old.. not computer savvy... but I’m 69 and old enough to know I’ve been shanked... today is the last day I deal with AT&T directly

Very difficult to get service | ATT review

Details
I have called several times to get help for getting my fiber cable properly buried and secured. The work has still not been completed properly. Today I called and was on wait for about 50 minutes and then the next message was that the office is closed and call tomorrow. When you log on securely to the website, there is no way to send an email to customer support The Chat functionality is awful.

I can never get wifi when others' with team mobil or verizon of course have no issues. I recently brought a new XR10 and got the insurance. Broke my phone the 1st week, very small crack. Then when I call to get the phone cover replace (with insurance), they tell me they do not have the capability to do so that I have to get a new phone. How can you sell a product, offer insurance and the insurance coverage wont make the minor repair. I got suckered into the buy one get one free but never again. As soon as I pay it off I will never use them again. Stupid me I've been with them for many years but did not realize what a terrible company they are. Don't ever get AT&T. Be fore warned. The sales people have no clue.
