Why I switched to them is beyond me. Thought I would save so much money on my Direct TV bill by bundling cell phone service with Att. So much of. Mess I can't believe it! So many phone calls. Nothing straighted out. Long story short I was charged a $450 deposit fee per phone. I was told because of my good credit I did not have to pay this. Then my first bill was $950 (yup) not including the $450.00 deposit fees!

I have been a loyal customer of AT&T for 10-plus years and have never dealt with any problems that couldn't be resolved easily and efficiently. I am inclined to post this review to thank them for actually caring about their customers and working hard to solve problems for their customers when needed. I have two phones One on AT&T and the other on Sprint PCS. Needless to say Sprint PCS shouldn't be an operation anymore because of their terrible customer service and lies. So thank you AT&T for always meeting my needs quickly and efficiently I am overly satisfied with this company and will continue to use them for my wireless networks.

ATT - AT&T is very good at misleading its customers

For me this all started back in September after I had just moved into a home. I went to a local ATT and told the vendor directly about my new address. It looks like that was the first mistake. When the first paper bill was due in October. I never got it. What turned out and this is according to AT&T the paper bill that I requested was marked to return to sender by the Post office. It seems when there is any problem in getting the paper bill AT&T loves to put the blame on the Post Office. Tried asking them that question once never got a straight answer. This answer was also given from there members of the office of the president. They are quick to blame the post office but never really owning up to this. Any way when I finally had it with ATT and I canceled my account. I had filed a complaint and the office of the president was saying that I had 3 addresses to answer that question I did tell them I tried to tell them the right address as usual that went to a very deaf ear. Two weeks after canceling service and in the mail I got the final bill with termination charge for service. Oddly enough only if they had mailed me a bill in a timely fashion without going into their tap dance about why I didn't get a bill in the first place. All of this effect may have saved them a client. While I really don't like Verizon that much either, for the same amount of money you get more for the buck. What AT&T says while you wait for a rep all of that really means nothing. Instead of being straight it is usually some song and dance they try to shove down your throat.

Identity Theft, Fraudulent use of Our Cell Phone Number. Someone hacked into our AT&T account and started ordering items. This is the second time in 3 years. In both cases, I didn't get stuck with the bill, but it amazes me that AT&T doesn't prosecute the thieves. They had mailing addresses and it would have just required AT&T to call the local Police department and ask them to stake out the fraudulent address. I wanted to press charges, but the police department said the theft occurred to AT&T and they must press charges. AT&T doesn't press charges, because its too much of a bother and its not cost effective for them to prosecute. Seems like a perfect crime since no one will prosecute. AT&T will just right off the loss and charge all their customers more. AT&T ought to more responsible than letting these thieves go free. It's an easy arrest and until you stop them, the crimes will only grow. From disgusted AT&T customer
