Since then they have contacted me and issued a credit to replace the gift card, a very good response. Just needed to get to the right person, no problem once I got passed the gift card department.

Received a ATT reward card for directv, thought I put card in place I could find, however I was out of town for several weeks and then could not find card so called AT&T rewards center ( a waste of time), they looked up my account and found my card and it had not been used . So I ask them to reissue, they said they could not because it was 60 days since it expired and they can not if it is more then 35 days since it had expired, I ask why and they said the "money had gone back to the bank" do not know what that meant nor did they.

I had the same card lost problem with Centurylink, it took them about 5 minutes to answer and reissue. So the only problem is not the bank it is At&T. I had thought by now gift cards etc had no expiration apparently AT&T has found this very useful way of not paying, and they use a reward center so you can't contact AT&T about it.

Nice people but of no use. Such Companies wake up one day and say gee it was Amazons fault our customers are leaviing.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $100.

Preferred solution: reissue reward card, other Companies have no problem doing so.

ATT Cons: Bad policy, Unexpected charges.
