Att was running a BOGO for iPhone XR in April when opening a new line. I purchased the 2 phones and opened a line that I could use for work. I showed an XR 64 but I purchased 2 of the 254's since it stated that only a maximum of $750 would be applied. When purchasing the phone it did not state that the 254's were not eligible. I just found that out when I called to ask why the credit had not been applied within the 3 billing cycles. This practice is very misleading and in my opinion fraudulent. Then you cannot cancel the line until regular business hours. Due to their misleading practices, I will be cancelling UVERSE, INTERNET, AND THE EXTRA LINE. I SPEND $700 A MONTH WITH THEM AND HAVE FOR YEARS BUT NO THEY HAVE GONE TOO FAR. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ATT

I’ve been with AT&T way before it was AT&T, it was Houston cellular when I purchased a cell phon for the 1st time and that service has gone down hill ever since AT&T bought out Houston cellular. The cell phone signal / reception is horrible in Texas especially Katy Texas, and Phoenix Arizona. Not only bad service now they’re making their customer pay inflated prices for a new phone when they are eligible for an upgrade but you can’t even buy the phone straight up now you can only buy a new phone on monthly installment plan! This is absolutely ridiculous! Being a loyal customer for many many years means absolutely NOTHING to AT&T! This is very sad how extremely greedy AT&T has become.

SWITCH OVER FROM TMOBILE TO AT&T AND IT END UP IM BEEN CHARGE FOR TWO BILLS BECAUSE ACCORDING TO THE STORE REP SHE SAID AS SOON AS I PORT THE NUMBERS FROM TMOBILE TO ATT YOUR SERVICE WITH TMOBIILE SHOULD BE CANCELLED WELL GUESS WHAT THEY NEVER CANCELLED THE LINES WITH TMOBILE NOW I HAVE TO PAY TWO BILLS FOR LINES IM NOT EVEN USING DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS THEY ARE NOT WORTH IT .....AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO TALK TO THEM TO SOLVE THE ISSUE THEY HAVENT EVEN CONTACTED ME IM STUCK NOW WITH TWO BILLS AND NO SWITCH INCENTIVE ..

Long story short, AT&T assigned my phone number to another individual while I was out of the country. After 2 store visits (5 hours) & 2-1/2 hours on phone with various departments, issue not resolved (although they admit fault) & forced to change number that I had for almost 20 years. Their Customer Relations department tried to work things out, but was cut off every time a transfer was made & had to retell story - 8 times total in 2 days. Sorry excuse for a supposedly customer-oriented organization. I only wish leaving them for another company would have more of a financial impact. Maybe my complaint to the FCC will get some attention.

ATT in Round Rock, Texas - Anothre one bites the dust

The AT&T sales sold me $80 a month with 2gig data, free telephone and texting. They included a 'free' tablet which would 'share' the 2g data. I was not told about a $45 activation fee for the tablet. I was not told i was authorizing a 2 year contract at $10 a month in order to use the tablet. I was not informed i had two weeks to change my mind about the tablet. As soon as i saw the billing information on the tablet, i called and told them i did not want the $10 a month contract. This information sorta' got 'lost' in AT&T's records. When i tried to correct the billing i was told i was 5 days over the 'two week startup'. Bottom line, it cost me $150 get out of jail free monies to get out of the tablet contract..... the one i wasn't told about until i got the bill. I could have bought two tablets with $150 and used wifi as i did with my previous tablet. IT TOOK ME 4 HOURS........4 HOURS......OF BEING SHUFFLED AROUND AND HAVING MY CALLS DROPPED UNTIL I WAS TOLD THE ABOVE. MOST OF THE REPRESENTATIVES I TALKED TO DID NOT SEEM TO HAVE POWER OF ANY KIND TO WAIVE FEES THEIR SALESMAN DIDN'T TELL ME ABOUT. I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NO BUSINESS OF ANY KIND WITH AT&T WITHOUT WRITTEN DOCUMENTATION ALL ALONG THE PROCESS..... BUT THEN I DON'T RECOMMEND AT&T WIRELESS AT ALL.

ATT in Boerne, Texas - AT&T is money hungry

We've had cell service w/ AT&T for 6 years with no issues until NOW!! We needed to lower our cell bill due to a job lost and they offer no help for long time users only new customers! Ugh, really!?!? We own our phones so we decided to switch cell service and they even make that a hassle!!! Ugh so disappointed with them! They even made it a pain to get a phone off our line so they could start their own plan. Here we are waiting for AT&T to unlock our phones that we own! 24 hours later still nothing.... We were told it could take up to 48 hrs!? Really AT&T this is rediculous!! You have made this such a hassle, all you care about is the buck! The dollar bill!!

I needed a go phone that is the screen size of the ZTE ZMAX (5.5) I would able to see better with. After was able to get one, and used it about 3 months, then 2 days now been trying to ask for a replacement as att employees have lied to me after saying they had put the order thru and found out they were lying to me as a consumer. I tried to get the order number and was able to get that but then found out they wanted about $147 when the phone was about $48 Less when I purchases it. So now they told me that they were going send another as a replacement because it was and is still not working right. I told them that after that phone which should have been sent, but wasn't, that I would send the one back to them, not working. After att put me thru to ZTE CORP., they wouldn't replace it either. Because of the battery was completely drained, and everything started bouncing all over the place as it also said the phone was overheated and was severely and are scared to use it after 3 months of trying to use the phone before it started doing those things . I had also asked if there were any problems with it if there'd be any problems getting it replaced in the right way, they told me there would be no problems, but kept telling lies to me so they would collect another $147 from me after actually paying for the phone that needs replaced. It was hard after trying to be nice at first, but it lead to them responsible for sending my glucose level of diabetes to almost 400 and forced me into breaking down over the phone because all they are doing are causing damages. ATT, Consumers need to know the truth at what ya'll are doing. (04/14/2016) TERESA BUTLER, PARIS, TEXAS.
