Was talked into going with Direct TV as now AT&T markets hard to switch AT&T Uverse customers over to Direct TV. Direct TV does not sell the internet. Soon as you switch to Direct TV the bill for Uverse goes sky high as they are overcharging for the lingering internet service twice as much as you were paying with the Uverse bundle. Their customer service give you different answers everytime you call them. They never correct a bill that is wrong. It's taken hours of phone time and still not paying less. Paying more!!!!! Besides that their cable installers make you pay them side money for installation.

If anyone has an ATT Uverse problem, do not expect to get any help that will permanently solve a problem, but they can cause even more problems. The left techie has no idea what the right techie does. My house is now full of holes, yards of wiring up and down and around in and outside my house. Before U-verse Techies, my house had never been invaded by men who arrived with tools to destroy the house and still leave us with the problems they said were solved. Today, I was cut off two phone calls and 4 chats before being told that I would have a SENIOR technician at a time that I had not requested. My typing is so poor because I have to wait for the internet to catch up and I must be typing at 10 words per hour.

Seamless. That's what ATT said about moving our business. We relocated in the same business park. As recommended by ATT , we installed a new service that was ready to port from the existing office when ready to our new office ATT said it would be Seamless. This is day three of no telephone service at our business. I spent 4.5 hours yesterday on the phone (not ATT Phone) with their support staff. I was handed off more times the I can count and altogether hung-up on 2 times and then again today. Every call began with the Robot assistant who was going to make sure I got the correct dept. Robot said any time during the call I can ask for live assistance, but it never worked. Our small company has lost now 6 hours of needed revenue time. I have spent a total of 8 hours on the phone to ATT support and I've gotten nowhere except behind in $. I am losing hope that this is going to be solved anytime soon, too help my frustration I am posting it in hopes that someone can/will help. ATT in San Antonio, Texas - Not honoring contract

Sending salesman to doors to tell us everyone unhappy with uverse and evidentially will have to switch. Very happy with my uverse. Offer to give me same channels( which was false) and 4wireless receivers as had for $63.63 per month with 2 yr lock and $200 gift card. Told first bill would have credit. First bill no credit and told salesman did not have authority to give me 4 receivers and would have to pay extra $7 per month for each of the other two. Do not care that have signed contract, spent 4hrs on phone and got nowhere.

ATT. 'ZERO BARS' IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AND COMMON SENSE

What is the protocol for verifying an order prior to canceling for 'supicious fraud'!? Yesterday, I spent 3 hours logged in my AT&T account, in a chat session with 'Rebecca', AND had verbally verified my identity over the phone during a phone call, just to port over my 2 step-kids' numbers from Verizon, purchase 2 phones and add 2 smart watches to my existing AT&T account. I am the account holder. I called from my AT&T cellphone, logged on from my home computer IP (on my home Uverse internet), received emails from AT&T to my email address on file during the chat session, and used my personal credit card to place the order. Why did this take so long to begin with? I have no idea!! The phones were BOGO free but wouldn't reflect that in the cart, same for the watches. When Rebecca (chat rep) and I finally got that fixed, and I was submitting payment and finalizing the order, the AT&T website had a 'technical error' and I had to start over from the beginning. And all this time, the online chat rep was apologizing and patiently guiding me through the process. Finally, we got the order to go through. Today I received an email stating that AT&T couldn't verify my identity, and the order was cancelled. Just like that! No text, no email, no phone call stating there was suspicious activity on the account and I needed to contact AT&T to verify the transactions-before canceling the order I spent hours on completing yesterday. I REFUSE TO WASTE ANOTHER 3 HOURS! And to top it off, AT&T agent I just spoke with after reading the cancellation email tonight was very rude and said I was committing fraud by using someone's identity and there was nothing I could do to prove otherwise. I've had this same account with AT&T for almost 15 years. Transferring my $800/mth TV, internet, and phone service to Verizon is looking better and better.

ATT in San Antonio, Texas - AT&T and DirectTV

As you all know AT$T merged with DirectTV, Now creating a monopoly on their services. The "FREE" statement on all AT$T commercials, is anything but FREE! At&t is trying to build their "Customer Sylows" for controlling their customers, Video, Audio and Data streaming capabilities. Their ploy is to fool you into thinking you are getting a good deal by signing up to their DirectTV service for "Unlimited Internet," and offering you money for enrolling into this new scam deal. Be Aware!! Once they get you, you will be locked in for 2 years and then, after the 2 yrs they will raise both services on you thus trying to keep you cornered in, what they call these days "company customer sylows," because you now have all AT&T equipment. AT&T is penalizing their customers, by increasing U-verse customers data allowance billing $10.00 more and the data allowance is only 50GB and the maximum overage charge will b $100.00. if you do not bundle in their DirectTV as they want all their customers to do. See the catch! If you don't bundle, you get charged more! forcing you on hook of another 2 years & better control over you! The new AT&T commercial that shows how you are caught in a web and other similar situations, Is what will happen to you if you sign up and bundle your DirectTV and AT$T communication lines. Be Aware of this Scam!! Read the fine print well!! Don't get caught in anyone's sylows and be manipulated! These days nobody should be in a contract.

Directv in Fort Worth, Texas - ATT owns Direct TV but they can't communicate

If I wrote everything wrong that has happened during this experience it would be a novel and it is still on going. We have ATT Uverse and visited the ATT store to address renewal options. They advised we should change to Direct TV to "save money" and improve our poor internet connection due to band width issues. OK less money more service sign me up. That started a series of miscommunication that has resulted in countless visits to the ATT store, calls to Direct TV and calls to ATT. Nobody can agree on the cost or tell us the bill amount. They cannot agree on the equipment needed or the cost of that equipment. The wife is still on the phone trying to get a commitment and an answer of "what will our bill be?" No success yet. Looks like we need to look elsewhere.
