WAITED 7 DAYS FOR DIAL TONE TO BE RESTORED ON LAND LINE . SPENT MANY WASTED HOURS DEALING WITH RECORDINGS AND PUSHING BUTTONS FROM 1-6, AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN. SPOKE WITH LIVE PERSON ON MONDAY 8-21 WHO SAID PHONE WILL BE RESTORED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AND DID NOT KNOW WHEN. ONE HOUR LATER PHONE WAS FIXED. TOOK ONE HOUR TO RESTORE DIAL TONE THAT WE WAITED 7 DAYS TO GET DONE. THIS IS A VERY SORRY WAY FOR AT&T TO TREAT CUSTOMERS, ESPECIALLY OLD AND HANDICAPPED WHO RELY ON PHONE SERVICE FOR SO MUCH OF THEIR NEEDS, DOCTOR CALLS, FAMILY CONTACT, AND EMERGENCY SERVICES.

Internet connection is in neighbors yard with locked gate. A tech has come more then 3x. when he finally got in he needed the neighbor to cut a bush. A senior tech came, again neighbor not home. Said he would come back, never did. Can u not call neighbor to make sure she is home, or run alternate line. This is ridiculous. To make matters worse, she is a real estate agent and really needs the internet. You guys stink for service.

Was talked into going with Direct TV as now AT&T markets hard to switch AT&T Uverse customers over to Direct TV. Direct TV does not sell the internet. Soon as you switch to Direct TV the bill for Uverse goes sky high as they are overcharging for the lingering internet service twice as much as you were paying with the Uverse bundle. Their customer service give you different answers everytime you call them. They never correct a bill that is wrong. It's taken hours of phone time and still not paying less. Paying more!!!!! Besides that their cable installers make you pay them side money for installation.

ATT Service Promise Not True RE: Visiting Tech Will Call You Back If needed.

I have everything ATT (U-verse and now Direct TV, Att Internet, iPhones with Att and more). I have always gotten great service but there is a flaw in their Service Promise that is not true. On two different occasions I called two different tech staff who visited my home and left a Service promise with their name and phone and assured me they would get back with me if needed; just call) one for u-verse and one for direct tv staff. They stated to call them if I needed anything; I did after they left. I never head from them; now I know that promise is good for letting the customer think that you care, and I am not complaining regarding their on site service or professionalism; however, do not list this if it is not a true follow up service. I cannot imagine a tech who comes to lots of homes who can answer all the calls but do not make me think I am special and not call back. If I were att, I would eliminate the pseudo service.

Have already have 10 lines my account adding one more line sales guys told it will be only monthly smartphone charges 15$ then after adding when 1st bill generated they 30$ more for the additional line when i called customer care they are saying as per At&t policy allowed to added 10lines per connection additional will have 30$ additional charges no way they can override that, just week before sales person at call center told no additional charge. customer care person literally saying whoever that person might gave wrong information both works for At&t but they are respective their own statement finally end up paying 30$ extra

Seamless. That's what ATT said about moving our business. We relocated in the same business park. As recommended by ATT , we installed a new service that was ready to port from the existing office when ready to our new office ATT said it would be Seamless. This is day three of no telephone service at our business. I spent 4.5 hours yesterday on the phone (not ATT Phone) with their support staff. I was handed off more times the I can count and altogether hung-up on 2 times and then again today. Every call began with the Robot assistant who was going to make sure I got the correct dept. Robot said any time during the call I can ask for live assistance, but it never worked. Our small company has lost now 6 hours of needed revenue time. I have spent a total of 8 hours on the phone to ATT support and I've gotten nowhere except behind in $. I am losing hope that this is going to be solved anytime soon, too help my frustration I am posting it in hopes that someone can/will help.
