Att - When contract ended, cell bricked: solved
My cell has been acting up (not responding to key press of any sort) for several months on and off.I remove the battery, restart and nothing works.
The problem goes away on its own. Today, one month out of contract, my cell freezes and doesn't respond all day.
I somehow get it to accept keystrokes and enter the code (*numbers*numbers#) to do a full reset and now the phone is like new.
I think that the phone has been acting up for months because of "software updates" being downloaded that were causing conflicts.Why else would taking the phone back to original programming cause such a dramatic change.
I could think that this a conspiracy to make me sign a new contract, couldn't I?
