I was searching online for internet service and came upon a third-party AT&T site. I did not sign up for service, yet was sent bills from AT&T for internet service.

I called immediately upon receiving the first bill and was told they would "zero out" my balance. The next month, I received another bill for another month of service that I did not even have. I called again and was told the same thing, that my balance would be $0. Received a collection notice on 11/26 reading that if my payment was not received by 11/25, they would send it to a collection agency.

AT&T was closed 3 days for the holiday weekend and I was just on hold for 30 minutes with no help. This is not the first time I've dealt with incompetency at AT&T and I will never again consider them for any type of service.
